IF YOU'RE NEW TO THIS BOOK YOU DO NOT HAVE TO READ THIS CHAPTER

I DISAPPEARED FOR A VERY LONG TIME, SO THIS CHAPTER IS TO THOSE READERS WHO STILL READ MY BOOK EVEN THOUGH IT'S BEEN MONTHS SINCE I LAST UPDATED

JUST TO REFRESH THEIR MEMORY, YOU KNOW?

I LOVE YOU ALL

Wow it's been so long

It was about time, author? I nearly forgot my name.

Oh hey fellow readers didn't see you there! Welcome to chapter 20, the weirdest chapter my amazing author has ever written but hopes it saves her book.

I'm most probably talking to three or four people at this moment let alone all the others that left because of my stupid author.

Well let me introduce myself...again...my name is Evelyn Collins and I'm the main character of this book, I'm going to take you around the few chapters my author managed to write before she disappeared into thin air and disappointed many of you.

I am here to remind you and myself of what happened in my life, since the last chapter stopped at somewhat before prom I suppose? without further due, let's go back in time and live the past.

*flies*

"Wait...so the bike couldn't stand on its own...because it was two tired?" I raise an eyebrow at Jake who is quietly chuckling

Oh Jake was in the last chapter?

If most of you forgot who Jake was, he's the guy that my cousin set me up with to take me to prom.

He has an amazing smile, oh if only readers could see that dashing smile

Sorry, let's carry on

"Okay okay...how about this one, why didn't the skeleton go to prom?" he asks waiting for an answer

I decided to invite Jake over for pizza to get to know him more for prom, this way it would be easier to go with someone you know than a complete stranger

Of course this idea came to mind when I remembered that I don't even know Jake's family name

I look away and start thinking about the answer as I unlock the door to my house, I open the door slightly but I'm stopped midway by someone's presence in my house

"Mo-mom?"

My mom is a very well known fashion designer who's never home. She's always, along with my father, traveling around.

I get to see her once or twice every month or so, which isn't so bad I suppose, until you need someone to confront you when you're breaking down.

She turns around and her eyes show some concern when she looks at me but they immediately widen when she notices Jake by my side

"Hey Darling" she runs to me and hugs me softly, "I missed you"

"Hey...mom" I hug her back slightly but my mom divert to Jake's who are filled with nervousness

I furrow my eyebrows and step back from mom, "wait...why are you here? I thought you weren't coming back until a week or so?"

"Plan's changed" she shrugs at me but her eyes never leave Jake's.

I'm missing something here
