Lost together

Brandons POV

I was breathing heavily, as i wrapped my jacket around her shoulders ad we are hiding behind a tree from a man in an cow mask. He is for sure new

Rowan and I were terrified, we called Trevor and Elisia for help and they should be on the way, we just have to make sure we stay alive

What happened? Rowan
was trying to be the leader again, not in a bad way. Just in the way where she doesn't want anyone else getting hurt, she puts herself in front of others. She carries the weight of the world on her shoulders just so everyone else has a little room to breathe

She found out there was an old cabin where all the mask people used to hide out or stay. So, her plan was to check it out alone. When I found out, I immediately stated that i was going, with or without her permission. She was defeated by that and we drove an hour away to some creepy ass forest.

We entered the house by breaking a window and unlocking the door, and there was nothing in it. Well no furniture, but there were pictures of the girls on the walls, and i have to admit, when i saw Rowan's pictures up there, i wanted to murder whoever took these. Some of them have was taken outside of her bedroom window, some walking home from school, some going. I mean it was such an invade of privacy and knowing someone was doing this right in front of everybody, made me pissed, she doesn't deserve this and I will not let her get hurt... not again.

We decided to leave that place when we started hearing a noise, like a quiet banging noise, almost unnoticeable. Of course being curious and idiots, we have to see where it was coming from, so we turn the corner and there the person was with the cow mask. When they noticed us he pulled out an ax and just started charging at us, we panicked and started running as fast as we could, i grabbed onto her hand to make i wouldn't lose her and we just ran. They were right behind us for the longest time, just swinging, when we turned the corner on them before they could notice and lost us.

Now here we are, out of breathe, sweaty, scared for our lives. Waiting for help, but now that i notice, how are they supposed to find us in here. Rowan and I don't even know where we are.

"What should we do?" She says as i pull her body against mine, trying to skinny up against this tree. It was the only cover

"I don't know, wait and see?" I suggest

"I think we should start making our way back" she says

"Are you crazy? No way. Do you wanna get murdered?" I ask

"No. But what do you wanna do? Sit here and wait for it to find us and then kill us, or for us to need water, or maybe we should try and start heading back to where Trevor and Elisia will be?" She says smirking

"Ugh fine lets go". I say as i grab her and put her behind me

A part of me is wishing... we would be stuck together a little longer
