(Familiar Introductions)

Candice stood against the car one arm over the hood while the other at her hips. She watched

warmly at Eliot who was trying to grab Anthony and lock him into his hold. Nathan was out getting

breakfast and for Candice he had promised to grab fresh fruits. She smiled feeling jitters inside her

stomach. He was so thoughtful so honest. Her eyes began to burn with tears knowing all to well they

wouldn't be together for much longer. She had over heard Elliot and Anthony talking last night before

dozing off to sleep. They were going back home. Candice just wasn't sure why had Nathan kept it from

her. Not offended by it she kept her eyes on Elliot and this time Anthony had him locked and was about

to throw a fist when Elliot stopped him, sliding his legs under his causing him to fall.

"Do you always play rough?" Candice asked. Elliot blinked momentarily and smiled like a

child.

"If you ask certain people they surprisingly like it." He grinned knowing all too well his words

had a double meaning. Candice ignored his reply and smiled at her brother who was breathing heavily.

"Man I need to get back in shape. Next time go easy on the jabs." He grunted grabbing his

stomach. "I'm starving."

"That's one way of getting back in shape." Candice retorted.

"Hey what is that supposed to mean?" Anthony asked wiping the sweat off his forehead with

his sleeve.

"What she means is that you eat like a pig." Elliot laughed. Candice grinned and in all

seriousness turned to Elliot.

"You're not far behind. It's all that excess energy in both of you that keeps your thighs so

lean." She observed which had Elliot smiling from ear to ear.

"Lean thighs eh?" he winked Anthony punched him And Elliot groaned in pain.

"Shut up." Anthony told him and Elliot breathed in understanding the emotions that comes

with being a brother.

"All I'm trying to say is that when I fall for a girl she's going to be a redhead just like your

sister. Is that so bad to say?" he asked innocently. Candice rolled her eyes at him and he grinned at her

again.

"You know if you have cousins or really young aunts. I have an open mind." He suggested

and Candice laughed at his bright boy expression.

"Elliot shut up." She tossed him a bag of chips left over from last night.

"Thank you." He mumbled content and dove into the bag. Anthony was standing far away

from them breathing and watching the mountains. He stood still his hands at his waist. As Candice

approached him she saw that his eyes were closed. There was a serene and calm look on his well
