ii. memories and stimuli

you ever notice how a lot of times memories will be better remembered when there's some sort of stimuli happening around you? yet, there still can only be so much.

when you have little to no stimuli, its dull and the memory will be hard to remember as well because you have nothing for you to grab out (metaphorically), if thats the right wording. kinda of like you zoned out, even though you didn't in the moment, the memory feels like you're trying to remember something from when you were zoned out.

when you have too much stimuli, it becomes overwhelming and the memory of it will be hazy and once again, not easy to remember because its all too much and its coming at you all at once or very close together.

you have to have a certain amount of stimuli so it's not dull nor overwhelming, like when you're having a conversation and there's soft music in the background or you're having a meal.

our memory seems to rely on stimuli and our senses (which of course coincide with each other to some degrees.) a great deal.
