To say that you were excited when your boyfriend, Aaron Judge, invited you to go to Miami for the Home run Derby and the All Star Game was an understatement.
You guys had known each other since college when you told him that you would agree to go on a date with him if he won the College Home Run Derby.
Flash forward to now, the two of you were on the way to Miami in a private jet.
"You've come a long way," you said putting your hand on his thigh, "...I'm proud of you."
Aaron took your hand in his, "thank you for coming with me." Bringing your hand up to his lips, "after all, you are my good luck charm."
You chuckled, "well, you definitely know how to charm a lady."
He smiled, "my charm has worked on you, hasn't it?"
You hummed in agreement.
"I smoothed talked you into agreeing to go on a second date with me after you'd agreed to that first date when I won the College Home Run Derby," Aaron said, his gaze meeting yours.
"Hmm, that's right." You said, breaking eye contact as your eyes looked down to his lips, "...you got me."
Aaron's lips met yours, and his hands moved to your waist.
You suddenly remembered that the two of you were not the only ones in the plane when you heard Dellin, one of Aaron's team mates say, "hey would the two of quit playing grab ass over there?"
"Yeah, save that shit for the hotel room." Luis added.
You blushed, hiding your face in your hands.
"Can't keep my hands off this beautiful girl," Aaron said.

"Wow," you said opening the door to your hotel room.
"Pretty cool isn't it?" Aaron said, "...lets check out the balcony."
"Ladies first," he said, opening the door to the balcony.
You walked outside amazed by the view, you couldn't believe how far Aaron had made it.
You felt Aaron's arms around you from behind and his lips on your neck.
"It's crazy, isn't it?" You said.
"What's crazy?" He said, his lips leaving your neck.
"Seems like just yesterday we were at a run down motel 6 for your College Home Run Derby," you said, as you turned around to look at him.
"Ah, but you weren't in the same hotel room with me..." he smirked, "at least not until after the derby."
"Aaron! Stop that!" You laughed, playfully hitting his arm.
"That's not you were saying to me that night in the motel 6," Aaron said, his lips attacking yours.
Your hands moved to the back of his neck then into his hair.
"Oh my god, if you guys are going to fuck go inside!"
You pulled away and looked over to the balcony next yours.
"Oh fuck off Dellin," Aaron said.
You giggled, "we should probably go inside, we have dinner with your parents in an hour."

You loved Aaron's parents, how could you not love the people you raised the wonderful young man you were dating.
Aaron was talking with a fan at the restaurant leaving you with his parents.
"I gotta say Y/N, Aaron is very happy that you came to support him," Patty said.
"I'm happy to be here," you responded.
"We're glad that your in our sons life, he really loves you," Wayne said, looking over at Aaron who was waving back at you guys.

Aaron woke up early the next morning for batting practice and press interviews. You decided to get out of bed early to wish him good luck.
Aaron was finishing shaving when he saw you walk in his shirt from the night before, at sight that made him want to pounce on you all over again.
"Babe, what are you doing up all ready?" He asked.
Walking towards him putting your arms around him "I wanted to wish you good luck, I know your going to crush it."
A smile grew on his face, "I love you."
You shrugged your shoulders playfully, "I know." You stood on your tippy toes, as Aaron bent down to kiss you, "I love you, you're going to do great." You said, as Aaron's lips met yours again.
"Go back to bed, baby."
"Ok, I'll see you before the Derby," you said making your way back to bed.

You smiled, seeing Aaron in his special home run derby jersey, looking down at your own.
"Did I ever tell you how good you look wearing the number 99?" Aaron called out waking up to you.
"Did I ever tell you how good you look in those pants?" You responded.
"All the time," he said, his arms engulfing you in one of his hugs.
Looking into his eyes, "I know you're going to great... this is going to be an amazing day for you."
"Every day with you is an amazing day for me,"
he said smoothly as his lips once again met yours. You broke the kiss, "that's a perfect picture Patty," Wayne said looking over his wife's iPhone.
"Aaron Y/N get over and look at this," Patty called the two of you over.
The picture was of the you smiling at each other, Aaron's arms on your lower back, yours on his chest.
Aaron put his arm around you, "I'm definitely going to need that picture."
"Me too," you added.
Aaron's parents wished him good luck and then he was off.
Just you sat down with Aaron's parents to watch the derby, you received an instagram notification @thejudge44 tagged you in a post.
You smiled clicking on the notification.
'Get yourself a girl who looks at you like this'
You double tapped the screen, and commented 'get yourself a man with cake like his😂😍'
Just as you finished typing you heard the crowd roar, "welcome to the 2017 Home Run Derby"
As the derby started you saw that Aaron was at the table with the sportscasters, being all cute.
Aaron would be facing off against Justin Bour in the first round. In order for him to advance into the next round he needed to beat his score of 22, very hard to beat but you knew he could do it.
You were up and out of your chair, with 18 seconds on the clock Aaron had 20 home runs.
"Come on, you can do this," you screamed.
"He still has his bonus time..." Wayne said, "he's got this."
One more swing and it's out, "he did it!" you said hugging Patty.

Aaron would be facing off against Cody Bellinger in the second round who has finished with a score of 12. As long as Aaron was consistent like his last he should be able to Cody's score and make it into the finals.
He already hit one out of the park with his first swing and a few minutes later he dropped a long ball, 514 to be exact. "No way," you said out loud.
"He's got this in the bag," Wayne said crossing his arms, and with a minute still on the clock Aaron had 13 home run and was making it to the finals.
"Oh my god!" You screamed and cheered. You were pretty sure that the people sitting behind you must have thought you were crazy. Aaron looked so happy and comfortable out there.

He was now facing off against Miguel Sano, who had a score of 10. You couldn't even sit down you were so nervous for him, however there was really no need to be because with a time of 3:11 Aaron already had 5 on the board.
"He's half way there!" You said.
"Hes gonna do this, he's really going to do it!" Patty cheered.
And with nearly 2 minutes left he did, "oh my god, oh my god..." you shouted, "he won, he really won!" You were jumping all around, "I think I'm going to cry, I'm so happy for him."
"Aww, honey. We all are," Patty said, hugging you.
"Come on, lets go see him" Wayne said, leading you and Patty to the field.

You wanted to run out to the field to hug and congratulate Aaron more than anything, but you knew that would not be appropriate since he was being presented his award, so you waited your turn.
As Aaron and his team manager, Joe Girardi were being presented the award, you noticed that Joe handed Aaron a small box, which Aaron quickly put in his pocket. You thought nothing of this, 'it's probably a gift from his coach.'
When Aaron received his trophy he looked so happy, you were so proud of him for living his dream. He was so humble too, you knew he was going to bombared with interviews and pictures and he was on his first interview right now, which the whole stadium could hear.
"Aaron who did you bring with you tonight and who can we expect to see you with in the parade tomorrow?"
"My wonderful parents and beautiful girlfriend," he pointed to the three of you and waved you guys to come closer.
"They've definitely done a great job raising you..." the interviewer said, "and Y/N, she was there when you won the college home run derby too, correct?"
He looked down and smiled, "yes, actually we had a bet that if I won she'd go on a date with me."
The interviewer laughed, "well it's a good thing you won both the College Derby and the MLB Derby, because I understand that you have a question that you've been dying to ask Ms. Y/N."
"Yes, I do," he said walking over to you.
You had no idea what was going on when he grabbed your hands and said, "Y/N, you know I love you. I think back to the day of our first date back in 2012 and think, 'hell I'm glad I won that derby' otherwise I might not be here with you."
Aaron searched his pocket for that little box and when he found it he went down on one knee. You covered your mouth in surprise.
"Y/N, you're the most amazing girl I have ever met. You've been with me every step of the way here, I want to spend the rest of my life with you..." He said, opening the box, "so would you make me the happiest man and marry me?"
"Yes, yes, yes, a thousand times yes," you said, tears forming in your eyes.
Aaron stood up engulfing you in a hug, "aww baby don't cry." He looked down at you, wiping your tears away.
"I'm just so happy," you confessed.
"Me too, baby. I love you so much."
You smiled, "I love you more than anything."
He leaned down to kiss down you, you truly felt like the happiest girl alive.
