Won't let go (Min Yoongi FF )✔

Chapter 18:

 The past few days I have been swamped with work. 

Missing 2 days from work put me behind on a lot of things. 

Thankfully Jin Oppa's mom will be helping with Alex.  

I guess they are having a sleepover.

 Looking at the time it's only 6:30 pm.

 Getting back to work I work on a few more file until someone knocks on my door. 

I look up and see Jungkook pop his head in.

"Noona, someone is here to see you" He says.  

"Oh okay, let them in." He opens the door revealing a friend I haven't seen in a long time. 

Since he is always busy with his work.

 Surprised  and delighted I walk up to him and give him a big Hug.  

"Daniel!!! Oh my God! How have you been?!" he just laughs.

"Min Min! Happy to see me?!" he says teasingly.

I smack his arm.

"Of course I am. It's been  a minute. How's work?How was Dubai? Isn't it beautiful?"

I bombard him with questions.

He laughs. "Hold on, one question at the time."

 He turns and I follow his gaze.

 And I notice Jungkook and Jimin by the door.

 "How rude of me! Daniel meet Jungkook my secretary and high school best friend.And Jimin my coworker.Guys this is Daniel Henney a good friend of mine" I say. 

They all greet and Jimin gives me a file.

 "Noona this is the new account,could you look over it?" 

I open the file and skim through it.

"Yeah sure" I say and he smiles.

"Thanks" Him and Kookie leave.

I sit on my desk.

"Woow! you are buried in work" Daniel says.

I raise my eyebrow and say "When am I not"

We catch up on work and everything. He asks me about Alex and then I ask.

"What are you doing here? How did you know I was here?" He gives me a smile and says.

 "Jin told me, We've been keeping in touch. I have work here and I figured I would come visit you. Actually I've been thinking about you a lot"

Me? why?

"You have?" I ask.

 "Yes, Last time I saw you I was going to tell you something but I chickened out.
I was going to finish this job here and go back to NY to see you But well you are already here" 

He gets up and walks around my desk.

 He turns my chair so that I am facing him. 

"You know how I feel about you right?" Yes I do. 

I could never return his feelings.  

I just nod. 

" I don't want to have any regrets so here I go...."he takes a deep breath and says.

"Min Min, Min Jee I have always liked you, I will even go as far as to say that I love you. Would you go out with me?" 

HOLY SHIT!

Looking at my lap i say.. 

"Umm..." Grabbing my chin Daniel says "Please look at me when you give me your answer" 

I look him in the eyes and say.

"I'm sorry, I can't return your feelings. To be honest I gave my heart to someone a long time ago and I never got it back"

He gives me a sad smile "Alex's dad" he states. I just nod.

"I knew what your answer would be but I still wanted to  hear it." I look down and say.

"I'm sorry"

He puts his hand on the side of my face and says.

"Never apologize about that, It's okay."

Moving closer he says. "May I give you goodbye kiss?" He asks.  

I look at him confused. Goodbye kiss?.

Without saying anything else he leans in connecting his lips to mine. 

The kiss is nice our lips move in sync but in that moment Yoongi barges into my office.

He sees us in a compromising position and says "Sorry" and storms out.

 He must think that we are dating.

Wait why do I care if he got the wrong idea or not.

ugh!. 

Daniel says he needs to get ready for tomorrow and I walk him to the elevator.

"It was good seeing you Daniel" I say. 

"Same" He says and kisses my forehead. He gets in the elevator and I go back to my office.

I need my Therapist Jin Oppa ASAP!
