In the wild, Apis Lithohermaea Drones never stray far from their nests, which they build high in the Island's Redwood trees or on rocky cliffsides. Apis Drones can be seen swarming around the nest in groups, but to get a look at the Queen Apis, one would need to crack open the nest itself. Speaking from experience, this is not a pleasant task, as the untameable Apis Drones are quite territorial.
I probably should have seen that one coming, in hindsight. Take caution: Apis stings will significantly weaken any creature which suffers them, and because its stinger is not barbed, Apis can sting multiple times without its stinger being ripped away.
Domesticated
A tamed Apis Queen will lay new drone eggs, and construct a nest that survivors can farm for honey, so long as they remember to wear specialized bee-keeping gear. Said honey is not only sweet and delicious, but laced with scents that land mammals find irresistible. Many hunters use it to bait their traps. Apis Drones will also follow their Queen into battle, so they can be used for self-defense in a pinch.

En la naturaleza, los Drones de Apis Lithohermaea nunca se alejan mucho de sus nidos, los cuales construyen en lo alto de los árboles de secuoya de la isla o en los acantilados rocosos. Se puede ver Drones Apis pululando alrededor del nido en grupos, pero para ver a la Reina Apis, uno tendría que romper el nido. Hablando por experiencia, esta no es una tarea agradable, ya que los indomesticables Drones Apis son bastante territoriales.
Probablemente, debería haber visto eso venir, en retrospectiva. Tengan cuidado: las picaduras de Apis debilitarán significativamente a cualquier criatura que las sufra, y como su aguijón no tiene púas, Apis puede picar varias veces sin que se le arranque el aguijón.
Domesticado
Una Reina Apis domesticada colocará nuevos huevos de Drones, y construirá un nido que los sobrevivientes podrán cultivar para extraer miel, siempre y cuando recuerden usar un equipo especializado para la apicultura. Puedo decir que la miel no solo es dulce y deliciosa, sino que está mezclada con aromas que los mamíferos terrestres encuentran irresistibles. Muchos cazadores la utilizan como cebo para sus trampas. Los Drones Apis también seguirán a su Reina a cualquier batalla, por lo que pueden utilizarse como defensa propia en caso de algún apuro.
