A floating beacon of light often found in the deepest pits of these caverns, Microluminis alectryon's appearance can seem almost heavenly. Its colorful plumage doesn't hurt either. Even without the charged light it emits, it would give any modern bird on Earth a run for its money in terms of pure spectacle.
Although its feathery eyebrows might give one of the impression that it is related to owls, it is not a bird of prey. It is entirely docile, and shows no aggression towards survivors or other creatures.
Domesticated
Microluminis alectryon's ability to fly and the ease with which it perches upon a survivor's shoulder has made it a favored pet among many. Some consider it the most refined of its glowing brethren, but I think they just want to look like a pirate. Not that I blame them...

Un faro flotante de luz que a menudo se encuentra en las fosas más profundas de estas cavernas, el Microluminis alectryon tiene una apariencia casi celestial. Su plumaje colorido tampoco pasa desapercibido. Incluso sin la luz cargada que emite, superaría a cualquier ave moderna de la Tierra en cuanto a puro espectáculo visual.
Aunque sus cejas plumosas podrían dar la impresión de que está relacionado con los búhos, no es un ave de presa. Es completamente dócil y no muestra ninguna agresión hacia los supervivientes ni otras criaturas.

La habilidad del Microluminis alectryon para volar y posarse fácilmente sobre el hombro de un superviviente lo ha convertido en una mascota favorita para muchos. Algunos lo consideran el más elegante de sus brillantes congéneres, aunque yo creo que solo quieren lucir como piratas. Y no los culpo...
