Leigh-Anne couldn't get to sleep that night. She just stared at her girlfriend with fear inside of her stomach for some reason. Jesy meant everything to her. And she felt as if maybe this was the one she was supposed to be with.
Out of all other lives she must have lived, Leigh-Anne thought this was the one she should stay in. The one she wanted to be in. And she couldn't have this taken away from her.
That night Leigh-Anne stared at her girlfriend's chest heaving with air. She admired Jesy's collar bones and the shadow of jawline in the moonlight.
Leigh-Anne stared at her girlfriend all until 11:59pm. She remembered glancing at the clock and back down at her lover. She wanted to be sure that she woke up on time. But as midnight neared Leigh-Anne felt an uneasy amount of tiredness.
She lay back down on her girlfriend's chest and stared at the ceiling. Before every went dark.

rant: this book will be a series of similar small events leading to big events. most books work that way and i am tired of rushing my books in fear of people getting bored of them. these things take time.love,
