Chapter 18

One Week Later

My Mum just woke up the doctors said it was the cancer they said it had spread and there was no way she was going to survive so now we are just sitting and waiting for my Mum To die

Sick Isnt It

I havnt spoken To anyone for 1 week apart from Lucas And Brandon i havnt talked to anyone dont want anyone involved so i never said goodbye to the boys as soon as i got to the hotel i packed my stuff and got on the first flight back.

Lucas: Carly You Coming

Me: Ummm Yeah i will just head there myself just need to get changed

Brandon:Carly mum is awake and you havnt visited her yet ok

I go to the door you can see the tears in my eyes i have been non stop crying since i got back

Me: And you want to know why

Brandon:Yes i do Carly shes are mum you are going to have to eventually say goodbye

Me: No I dont ok because im mad at her at you at everyone i dont understand why she wouldnt tell us how bad it is she could of had an opperation or chemo anything but no she just wants us to sit around and wait for her to die and say goodbye to her everytime we see her  because we dont know if she will finally leave us forever so that is why i dont want to see her ok.

I slam the door in his face and slide down the door with the tears streaming down my face i look at the fresh scars that were forming on my arms and i just sigh.

My phone starts ringing and i walk over to where it is and check the caller ID

Nathan 70 missed calls and 20 unread messages

I just leave it ringing and decide to get ready i need to face up to reality eventually right 

After an Hour I finally pull up to the hospital and just sigh and walk in

Me: Karen Evens

Receptionst:And you are

Me: Her Daughter Carly My brothers are probably here arnt they

Receptionast:Yes Room 316

I nod

Me: Thank You very much

I walk to the room tears falling as i  see her she looks so fragile like if i touch her she will break this is something you will never want to see but i just wipe my tears away

Me: Hi

They all turn and look at me and Lucas Walks up to Me and hugs him i just Hug him back tightly and whisper shes not gone yet ok shes still breathing there will be time for tears ok He nods and i go and sit by my mums bed.

Me: Why didnt You Tell Us

Mum:Hello to You To sweetheart

I Just sigh

Me: Mum Why

Mum: I didnt want to worry the three of you ok

Me: Too Late for that Mum Your Dying ok you are dying is this what you wanted us like this crying at your bedside crying ourselves to sleep because we are scared to lose you.

Tears were now falling again

Mum:Come here

She patted the bed and moved alittle so i could lie down next to her and i do

Me: What am i going to do without you

She kissed my head softly

Mum: You will do just fine without me Love ok you are stronger then you give yourself credit for

Me: Yeah your meant to say that your my mum and If you die we will have no one i will have no one

Mum: You will never be alone ok you have your brothers and you have Nathan and whatever happens between the two of you you will always come back to eachother

Me: I dont think thats true anymore

Mum:What do you mean

Me: Nothing i am just going to get something to eat want anything

Mum:I dont think i could keep it down Sweetie but you go

Me: I will get Brandon and Lucas to come in and sit with you ok

Mum:Ok I Love you Carly and remember i am never going to leave you i will always be with you ok

 Me: I Love You Two Mum

I kiss her on the cheek and walk out to find brandon or lucas

Me: There You are can you sit with Mum while i go and get some food you want anything

Lucas: No im Fine

Me: Brand

Brandon:No i had something before you go we will just sit with mum

They walk away to mums room

1 hour later

I walk back into the hospital to see everyone running around to a room it looks like they are running to my mums room but it cant be because shes not ready to die yet im not ready for her to die yet.

I just follow the rush and it was my mums room

Me: Mum no no no you cant die mum

I shout really loud

Doctor :Someone get her out of here

Tears were falling and Brandon just comes up to me and hugs me

Brandon: Come on Carly we need to go there is nothing more they can do

Me: No she is not dead ok im not going to let her die ok shes not going to die

The doctor walks out with a sad look on his face

Me: No you need to go back in there and you need to save her shes my mum shes a person you cant just let her die ok its your job to save her

Doctor:Im sorry miss we did everything we could

Me: Obviously you didnt otherwise she would be alive now go back in there

Doctor : Im sorry for your loss

He walks away and i cant face it and i just run out of the hospital

I feel sick i throw up alittle and just break down in the middle of the street tears streaming from my eyes all of a sudden i feel all dizzy

Then everything just goes black.
