My Brother's Best Friend

Waking up at 6am is never my plan but today is Monday aka the first day I go back to hell. Yes back to school. Sadly I share my bathroom with Ethan since it's connected between our room. He usually uses the bathroom on this floor aka the second floor. We have 5 rooms on the second floor. My room, Ethan, parents, guest room, and a bathroom. Then we have a bathroom between my room and Ethan's. Then our parents have there own bathroom. The first floor is normal kitchen, living room, a guest bathroom, and a dining area. The backyard just has a pool.

I get up from bed and go to the shared bathroom. I take off my clothes and get in the shower. As I'm washing my hair I hear the door open.

"Sis I need to brush my teeth" I hear the sink water start running.

"That's fine" I finish showering and grab my towel. I wrap it around me and pass Ethan and go into my room. I brush my hair and blow dry it. I Do a quick high ponytail and go into my closet. Hmmm high wasted black jeans sound good with a white hoodie. Okay what shoes. White adidas with black socks okay good. I get into my clothes and shoes and go back in the bathroom. I'm not really a make up girl so I just applied some mascara. I get out of my room and go downstairs. I see my brother eating cereal so I go and join him.

"Where's mom and dad" I say eating my cereal.
Ethan shrugs.

"So you ready to start school" I ask curious he's not talking to me. He shrugs again.

"Where's mason" I question

"Can you just leave me alone I don't want to talk to you okay leave. Me . Alone." He gets up and throws his plate into the sink and I flinch. Well that wasn't expected. I grab my book bag and go out the door. Yeah my parents got Ethan a car last year they may get me one this year. I usually go with him but he already left. I sigh and begin to walk. The school is like 7 minutes away I think might as well ask liv or gaby to take me. I walk down two houses and get to liv's. I knock on the door and liv opens it ready to go to school.

"Hey um Ethan pretty much left without me so can you give me a ride please" I ask with a little smile.

"Yeah of course gaby is already at school in are meeting spot so let's go." She grabs her keys and opens her car. I get in the passenger while she puts the keys into the ignition. She starts driving towards the school.

"Bonus a parking spot right in front of the school." She cheers and parks in the spot. I grab my bag and she grabs hers. We start walking to our spot and see gaby there.

"Hey girls" gaby says as we walk over there. I wave and liv hugs her. I see Ethan and mason come out of "our car". Mason grins at me and Ethan gives me a death glare. My smile is now gone and go back to the girls.

"Hey I'm going to go inside I'll see you in class." I walk away into the building and see Ethan leaning on a locker with mason next to him. I don't know he's being such a jerk to me. I walk up to him and tap his shoulder. He looks at me and says nothing .

"Why are u ignoring me?" I sigh. He waits for a few and then answers.

"I'm sorry em something happened with you know who and I took it out on you please forgive me" I automatically knew "who" was. This girl Ethan stared talking to keeps bothering him on dating when he clearly doesn't like her.

"It's okay just talk to me next time" I give him a smile which he gladly gives back.

After school at home

I get home since liv dropped me off. I see Ethan and mason sitting on the couch playing a video game.
"Hey guys."
I go upstairs while they reply with hi or hey. I get to my room and close the door

I take off my clothes which leaves me in my bra and underwear. Someone opens the door which startles me.

"Hey em- Woah! I'm so sorry" mason immediately covers his eyes. I blush a deep red.

"I-it's okay give me a second" he gulps and nods. I put on my joggers and t-shirt.

"You can remove ur hands now" he removes his palms from his eyes and looks at me.

"I'm really sorry I should of knocked." He runs his hand through his hair.

"It's okay really I'm fine. I'm pretty sure we showered when we were younger" I shrug.

"Yeah but u weren't so um.....mature" he coughs awkwardly and then laughs. I start laughing with him.

"Okay what did you come her for?"

"Oh yeah Ethan is asking what u want from the store but I'm pretty sure he left by now." He says

"Oh okay I didn't want anything either way but thank you for asking." I give him a smile. "Why didn't you go with him?" I question

"He didn't trust you alone."  I gasp

"He's only a minute older." I mumble." Mason laughs. I guess he heard it.

"Well either way you look better without the shirt and joggers." He winks and walks out.

Holy shit did Mason, Mason Ryder just flirt with me. I think my eyes are going to follow out of my socket and pretty sure my lungs stopped working. Mason just flirted with me.
