My Brother's Best Friend

Chapter 3

Again with waking up at 6am yippee. Getting out of bed is the hardest part I'm all comfy and bundled up but of course school has to ruin it.
I hear a door open and see a body jump on me. I grunt in pain knowing it's my annoying brother.

"Get off me you lump of turd." I groan

"Hey be nice." He says pouting. I laugh and roll him off of me. Surprisingly he doesn't fall off the bed. I get up and go into our bathroom. I brush my teeth and brush my hair and put it into a braid. I go back in my room seeing Ethan gone and change into a navy blue loose crop top that has the words "I really don't care" in white on the corner. I put on some light blue jeans with black Nike's. I decide not to wear make up and pick up my book bag from the floor and head out my room into down stairs.

I see my mom cooking while dad was sitting on the table drinking coffee.

"Morning mom and dad"

"Good morning honey" my dad replies

"We need to talk to you" my mom says serving a plate of eggs for her and dad. I gave a confused look

"So you of course know mason right" I nod

"Well you also know his parents work in the same company we do correct" my dad says putting his iPad down. I also nod again.

"Well we have to go to a business trip only for a week though on Saturday." It's Tuesday so in 4 days I guess.

"Okay sorry to be rude but how does this effect me?" I question

"Well his parents don't want him to stay alone in the house since he's an only child so he will be staying in the guest room for the whole week." My mom says serving her self  orange juice.  My eyes go wide.

Okay I'll admit it I may have a little crush on mason but I know it will never happen since he's best friends with my brother. I mean it was a big crush before but it's gotten smaller I guess.

"So Mason, Mason Ryder the boy that lives in front of us is going to stay here in this house for a week." I say looking at both of them. They both nod while I sigh.

"Okay well does Ethan know."

"Yes we told him earlier when he went to wake u up." No wonder he was in a happy mood.

"Well I have to go to school so I love you both and will you be here when I come back?"

"No we're coming late again." I nod and go out the door. Yeah my parents work a lot so it's not really different for me. Ethan later comes out the door.

"Did they tell you the news" he smiles as he opens his car.

"Yes" I get in the car. I put my book bag on the floor and put on my seatbelt while Ethan does the same.

"Well I'm excited just make sure to buy some earbuds the week he's here cause we may have girls over." He smirks. I swear I just threw up in my mouth.  He drives after a few minutes we get to school and he parks. I grab my stuff and leave walking up to the front doors. I walk in and see gaby and liv in our other meeting spot. We have two meeting spots one outside and one inside. So if one isn't outside their either inside. I walk over to them.

"I have to tell u guys something." I say opening my lockers

"It will have to wait boo the bell is about to ring." Gaby says closing her locker that's next to mine. I put in my book bag next to my sports bag and grab my books I need for this class.

"Okay I will you girls in lunch." We wave bye and walk to our classes. I have mason in my class I hope he doesn't flirt again. I get into class as the bell rings. Just in time thank god I got to my desk and sit down.

The class is almost ending so I asked the teacher if I can get out now. She said yes so I go back to my locker. A few minutes later someone shuts my locker and pushes my back on it. I they see Mason's hazel eyes and smirk. He whispers in my ear "I don't regret anything yesterday and I can't wait to see more Saturday for a whole week." His breath against my neck makes me shiver. If he wasn't holding my up I would fall cause my knees are so weak right now. He lets me go as the bells rings indicating students are about to fill the hallways. He winks and walks away to his locker that's next to Ethan's. Liv and gaby come towards my still frozen body.

"Girl What happened you look like you just saw Jesus." Liv says grabbing my shoulder. I grab Liv and gaby and pull them into the cafeteria. We get our food and sit at a table.

"Okay so yesterday I was changing and mason walking in then said after our little chat u look better without joggers and a shirt." I say not waiting a second.
"No way really" Liv says in shock I nod.

"There's more"

"Please don't tell me he had sex with you cause I'd be jealous" gaby says laughing. I giver a face of disgust I shake my head.

"Saturday his parents and my parents are leaving for a business trip for a week. He's staying at my house with Ethan and I cause his parents don't want him to be alone." "The only reason I was like that is because he pushed me on my locker and whispered "the stuff about yesterday and he can't wait to see more Saturday and the week."  Both their expressions are either shocked or amused or both.

"Well this will be interesting" Liv says sticking a French fry in her mouth.

"Your lucky your practically living with the hottest boy in school" gaby says fanning her self thinking about mason. Liv and I laugh at our dramatic best friend.

"You better take some pictures of him without a shirt." Gaby says sternly.

"Taking pictures of who shirtless?" Mason says coming over with his tray and Ethan.

"Yours hot stuff" gaby winks. I choke on my water.

"Okay well this got awkward" Ethan says sitting down.  Mason gets close to my ear and says "you'll be choking on something else if ur up for it". I feel the heat rise to my face and he pulls away with a smirk. One day I'll slap his smirk off his face. Liv and gaby start laughing from my face and Ethan just glared at mason like he knew what mason told me. I just sit down and drink my water not speaking anymore.
