1: The Break-Up

Darcy's POV

It's been a while, hindi ko alam kung ano ang sorpresang ini-handa sa akin ni Liam, he told me na magkikita kami ngayon sa fancy restaurant kung saan kami nagsimula, he took me there a year ago at mauulit na ngayon. Can't wait.

Liam and I are been together for 2 years, He grew up on a rich family but I knew na nagkakaroon na ng business crisis ang pamilya niya ngayon pero he keep saying na "wala lang 'yon, it's a minor problem lang naman", I shrugged my shoulder. Hindi ko naman siya pipilitin na sabihin kung ano talaga ang pinakanangyayari pero dahil kay Steve, nalaman ko na ang lahat.

"Bes, paki-tulungan naman ako para i-zipper yung damit ko sa likuran, salamat!" paki-usap ko kay Nikka, ang supportive bestfriend ko. We've been bestfriends 3 years ago at mas solid ang samahan naming dalawa, sa dami ba namang pagsubok na sumubok sa pagkakaibigan namin, para na rin kaming magkapatid.

"I'll assure na you'll make Liam's jaw drop once he got a sight of you, you're really astounding beautiful in this dress, near to perfect kumbaga" Nikka was smiling all the time while she assists me, masaya siya sa amin ni Liam ngayon. NBSB siya pero alam ko na magkakajowa na siya soon after, I know someone who admires her back then pero torpe kasi yung guy. It's Steve's bestfriend too.

He's the guy that she never noticed, pano ba naman kasi, napakatorpe.

Liam's POV

I can't stop myself from shedding my tears. This decision would be the worst ever in my life, but I chose to do it even if mahirap para sa mga magulang ko.

The business crisis na matagal ko ng tinatago kay Darcy, that's the thing na kinakatakutan ko at ngayon mangyayari na. There's a reason behind why I'll do this.

Ilang oras na rin akong nakatayo dito sa Terrace ng Pavillion sa Village namin. I'm all alone, I don't need someone to be here right now.

I can see the haziness of the whole city here in the pavillion, since nasa highlands kami. I could see everything, those skylines, highways, the nature itself.

Maya-maya lang aalis na rin ako dahil kailangan ko na ipaalam lahat kay Darcy. It's my greatest sacrifice, Sana makita ng parents ko na hindi ako failure sa kanila and I'll do my best to impress them.

"Liam?" I heard Dad's voice and immediately wiped out my tears and pretended na masaya ako right now kahit na I'm emotionally dead.

"Time to say goodbye" Dad chuckled habang inakbayan niya ako as we walk through the hallway of this pavillion.

Pinatunog ko na rin yung kotse ko, then tinapik pa ako ulit ni Dad and I faked my smile. Knowing na hindi ko pwede sabihin sa kaniya ang nararamdaman ko right now.

"Goodluck son, I know you can do it"

I stepped inside of the car, this car was my Dad's gift 6 months ago. McLaren, galing pa ito sa US, when they had a business trip. They surprised this car and knew that it was for me. Doon din ako pinakanaging masaya dahil unang naisakay ko dito ay si Darcy. Those memories kept flashing back in my mind, can't stop myself to shed my tears.

I drove so fast, hindi ko na alintana ang mangyayari, Ang bigat ng nararamdaman ko ngayon. I could feel my flesh shaking. This will be the saddest thing I've ever did, pero wala ng ibang paraan.
