Y/N's POV

Rick and I enter the garage, there is a boy, he looks like my age, scavenging through Rick's belonging.

"Morty, y-you piece of *ERUP* shit! You're wrecking my lab!" Rick's pissed.

"This is a garage Rick! Y-you, y-you, n-needed to c-clean this place a-anyways!" Morty says, he looks over at me.

"Rick, w-who's, that?" Morty asks scanning me like I'm an intruder.

"I'm Y-Y/N, I'm your n-new n-neighbor." I'm stuttering.

"Oh, nice t-to meet y-you!" He holds his hand out, for me to shake.

I decline shaking his hand, I made his hand to a fist, and we fist bumped.
(Brofist!)

"You don't have to be so formal, dude we a-are most l-likey the same a-age." I say.

"S-sorry, I s-stutter s-sometimes, I usually d-don't." I faceplam myself.

"14!" We say in union.
Rick chuckles.

"You can get h-her in your *ERUP* pants later Morty." Rick smirks.

"W-we just m-met, R-rick!" Morty says punching his grandfather.

Rick sits down at a stool, working on a gadget.

"You really are a genius huh?" I point out.

"N-no *Erup* shit Y/N." "Morty hand me a *ERUP* screwdriver." He pauses.
"Y/N, could you hand me a *ERUP* serum, it's pink and should get this going.

"Ok, I'm sorry I'm not being helpful." I say.

"You're more help then *Erup* Morty, he still hasn't given me a screwdriver, plus I didn't really ask you for much other than hand me pink goo." Rick smiles.

I hand Rick the goo he wanted. I examine his gadget. Rick's doing something wrong, but I'm not gonna point it out yet. I don't wanna be known as a smartass.

"Here." Morty says, handing Rick the screwdriver.

Rick fiddles with the screws in his gadget.

"Let's give it a whirl?" Rick asked.

"AYE!" I shout.
"Yeah." Morty says.

Rick presses a button, it converts into a gun.

"ANNND AWAY WE GOO!!" Rick shouts.

It busts.

"Rick, I told you!" Morty sasses.
"Shut up Morty! I've been trying to fix it for a week now! Why don't you *ERUP* fix it!" Rick boils in anger.

"Aww Geez Rick, I can't fix t-that!" Morty turns red.

"May I try?" I quietly whisper to myself.

They both turn back to me, most likely forgetting I was there.

"Have at it kid." Rick mumbles.

"Morty." I say

"Y-yes?"

"Hand me a flat head screwdriver, something that bonds stuff like glue, and one spring." I pause thinking, "Oh, and a paper clip! Please.." I ask.

"O-of course." He says sweetly.
How cute.

He comes back in a few minutes with everything I asked for.

"That goes here, that over there, erum, a-HAH! That needs to go, that can stay, now I screw this in and.." I mutter to myself.

I can feel someone watching me.

I turn around, it's Morty.

"S-sorry!" He blushes.

I turn back around and finish my work, before I announced that I am, I can still feel Morty looking at me.

"Like what you see?" I smirk.

"N-no! I mean well, y-yes, but not like that!" Morty stutters even more now.

"Aww geez!" I mock him.
He gives me a huge smile.

I think I like him,
We just met! No, Y/N, not now, wait.

Rick takes a sip from his flask and looks at my work, astonished.

"Woah! Y-you fixed it?" He didn't burp this time.

"Yeup!" I say, proud of my work.

"Damn Y/N, you're smart!" Rick says.

"Aww shucks!" I turn red.

"I thought you were a genius Rick? You let a little girl like me, fix up your hiccups?" I smirk.

"I am a genius thank you very much! You just got lucky, I usually don't need help, pfft.." Rick rolls his eyes taking a sip from his flask.

"OHHHH!! Rick she took you to school!" Morty shout.

"She's a keeper, *ERUP* Morty." Rick smirks, I giggle.

"SCREW YOU RICK!" Morty yells.

I think I'm gonna like this place.

Beth comes into the garage.
"Woah! You didn't rip either of their throats out?" She say happily.

"I didn't! Did I?" Beth starts to laugh.
"I'm glad you've lighten up sunshine!" My mother comes behind Beth.

"Would you like to stay the night?" Morty asked.

I look over to Mom.

"It would be rude to ignore him, honey.." My mother says snapping me out of space.

"Yes." I didn't hesitate.

"Would you all get out of my garage!" Rick says taking a sip from his flask.

He looks at my mother, then me.

"Please." He adds.

"Sorry, Rick!" I snorted.
"Yeah, yeah, kiddo, go play with Morty, he's dying over there to get you all to himself." He whispered.
He ruffles my hair.

I walk over to Morty.
"Let's go?" I ask, waving my hand in front of him.

"Yeah, s-sorry!" Morty says.

Morty grabs my hand. What on Earth.
We get to his room, and he realized what he was doing.

"S-SORRY!" Morty screams.
"It's alright, you didn't violate me!" I slap his chest, he let's go of my hand.

Dang it!
