Colby was walking to me and I sniffled pushing his hands away.

'Happy birthday' I growled and stormed out the front door, driving home through my tears. I spent his birthday in my room. I was so angry at the fact he wouldn't just move on. I get he cared, he was protective and - well apparently he loved me. that was the last thing on my mind, mostly because I didn't believe him one bit. He had just said it so I would stop and think, he didn't mean it. he couldn't have.

I rolled over in my bed which I hadn't spent a night in since I started dating Colby. I rubbed my eyes and checked my phone

- Baby:  34 missed calls

 -Baby: 67 unread messages.

-Sammy kins: 23 missed calls

-Sammy kins: 40 unread messages

-Mom: 1 unread message

-Cole: 3 missed calls

I sigh and call my brother Cole

'CC are you ok?!' he asks

'I'm okay, why are you up? its late where you are'

'Colby called- said something about a fight' he said and I groaned

'Go asleep bro, ive got this.'

'You sure CC?' he asks

I say 'of course,'

'To mars and back.' he said making me giggle, it was a thing me and him done our entire lives

'Yep, mars and back, goodnight I love you' I say and hang up.

I stare at my phone and Brennen calls, I raise an eyebrow confused.

'Bren?' I ask

'HEY UH- DONT GO ON INSTAGRAM'

'That's stupid, I'm checking no-' I open the app and see Colby has tagged me in something

I see a picture of his ex with the caption 'Hey- Lets do an Elton and go back to our exes because ciera cant say I love you'

I  stare at the screen in disbelief as I hang up on brennen
