Amber's P.O.V.
I sat in the fetal position. I didn't know what to do. Rosaline was sitting next to me and crying. The dead nephilim was lying next to Michael. Gabriel was standing guard, keeping as many angels away from us as possible. Raphael was checking me and Rosaline for wounds.
But the angel that I was looking at, was stockstill. He had grayish hair that was blocking his eyes. And he stood with a purpose that screamed importance.
"Petunia?" He asked, his voice barely audible even in the quiet.
"Azrael, I'm so sorry!" Rosaline cried out. "I didn't want to kill her! She attacked the spirit and I had to protect her! I didn't try to kill Petunia either!"
"It's okay Rosie." Raphael soothed. "She made her decision and you did your job to protect an innocent soul."
"P-Petunia?" Azrael asked again, walking forward.
His shoulders were sagging. He was shaking too. I could tell he was crying silently. His breathing was ragged and I felt sympathy for him. I wished I could fix this, but I couldn't.
"Raphael, take Rosaline and the little one to Tobias' house. When they arrive, come back with Castiel and Haniel." Michael ordered.
Raphael nodded and stood up. Rosaline and I followed. I didn't say a word as we walked along. What could I say? I'm sorry you had to kill Petunia to save me? That sounded insensitive to say the least.
I followed Raphael and Rosaline through Paradise. The longer we walked, the richer Paradise looked. With towering skyscrapers and business like buildings. I slowed down, looking in wonder.
I had grown up in a town that was basically farms. It was amazing to see everything, but also overwhelming. I looked forward and found that I had fallen a ways behind Rosaline and Raphael. I ran up to them to catch up.
My only question was where were the other human spirits? I couldn't be the only one in Paradise. There had to be more around here. Unless all of the other human spirits were in Purgatory or Perdition. And that couldn't be right. Not all people were wretched in life. Some were good people.
We reached a tall building and I looked up. I couldn't even see the top because it was so big. Raphael strolled inside and we followed. The place itself was glitzy and had numerous ornate carvings.
There were multiple, six-winged angels sitting around and talking. Others were rough-housing and playing with each other. I could tell these angels had a lot of energy to spare.
Many of them stopped and glared at us as we walked through the building. More so me than Raphael and Rosaline. Probably because I didn't have wings like them.
"What brings you here Raphael?" A deep voiced angel demands.
"Michael sent me here with Rosaline and this human..." Raphael trails off.
"Amber." I whispered.
"Amber. Is there somewhere we can talk that provides more privacy?" Raphael inquired.
"Of course, follow me." Tobias said turning on his heel.

"So this human must be important if she hasn't been brought to the other humans yet." Tobias stated.
"Amber has been attacked by two nephilim since she died. Once in Purgatory. The second time was in front of the Archangel Court." Raphael answered. "The second time she was attacked, the nephilim was Petunia. She's dead now."
"How's good old Azrael handling the death?" Tobias inquired.
I stared up at Tobias in amazement. He had six wings each pair was a different hue of blue. The highest pair was sky blue, then blue, last was navy blue. Tobias was extremely tall to me and had coal coloured eyes. His hair was short and brown.
"Not well, I'm positive. I must be on my way however, I need to fetch Haniel and Cassiel." Raphael excused himself.
Raphael left and Tobias turned his piercing gaze to me. He seemed to size me up. He walked over to me and sat next to me. He glanced over a Rosaline.
"Come on Rosie. I know you're tired." Tobias said gently. "Let's get you to bed."
"Okay," Rosaline replied.
She stood up and Tobias took her arm, leading her to a bedroom in the apartment. He returned after about twenty minutes passed. He sat down next to me again.
"So, what's your story? Why are you so special?" Tobias interrogated.
"I have no idea. I just died, and now I'm here. And I've been attack twice. The Angel of Death's daughter is dead because of me." I rambled. "The archangels are going to put you under supervision."
I nodded looking at Tobias's wings.
"Why do you have six wings?" I questioned.
"Because I'm a Seraphim. We have six wings." Tobias answered. "Michael is the only Seraph that doesn't have six wings, but that's because he's the Prince of the Heavenly Host."
I nodded slowly, processing this information. I felt a calling in my bones. It almost felt like they were vibrating.
Tobias looked back at the room he had left Rosaline in. He quickly found a piece of paper and a pencil. Scribbling something down on the paper, he left the note in her room.
He jerked his head to the side, gesturing for me to follow him. I got up and quickly walked with Tobias. He grabbed my wrist gently, but firmly. We walked out to the balcony.
"Tobias," I paused. "What are you doing? Where are we going?"
"Michael called us. I can hold you during flight. You won't get hurt I promise. Tobias assured me.
"Is that what that was?" I inquired.
Tobias looked at me in confusion.
"You mean, you-what did it feel like?" He sputtered.
"It felt like my bones were vibrating almost." I answered.
"Interesting," Tobias murmured. "Let's go then. We shouldn't keep Father waiting."
