It isn't at all what everyone makes it out to be
It isn't at all what they've promised me
It's not rainbows and butterflies
And there's no unicorns on this side
It's a whole other world
A world full of light
A world full of wonder and hope
I know I said that hope is a bitch
and yes she does seem to breed eternal misery.
But this kind of hoping
isn't at all like that
It's the kind of hope
that has you reaching for the moon
and not wanting to miss it
It's the kind of hope
That tells you to not settle for a star
Because stars are actually suns
and they'd burn you
before you even get close enough to touch
I feel unstoppable
It's an incredible feeling
There's beauty in it
There's love in it
There's family in it
There's friendships in it
There's happiness in it
