Lyndsee's POV-
It was a Saturday afternoon. My mom and dad had just told me about how they were getting a divorce and we had to move in with mom. I was so devastated. I loved my mom and dad to death and I couldn't see them like this. I ran up to my room and Jake followed. HOW COULD THEY DO THIS TO US, JAKE? They can't split up! They just can't! I say to Jake as he sits on my bed. "Sis, that's life. Mom and dad are so unhappy. Can't you see!?!?! They need this. They need to be apart" Jake said softly. I know but what about us kids! They can't just up and leave with us! We have a life too! "I don't think you're understanding the point I'm getting at. They can't stay in a broken relationship. You should be happy for them! Don't be so inconsiderate!" Jake yelled, as he walked out slamming the door. I just lay there and cry myself to sleep. Maybe it'll be better in the morning.
