Wow, what is this? Hime-sama is actually posting the results right after the contest deadline! Is the world coming to an end?? :O

Haha I'm on holidays right now so I wanted to get the results and the next contest out before I go back to school. 

Next contest is going to be a liiiiittle different, so look forward to that ;) That's all that I'll reveal, so wait and see!

I really liked both your ideas with the dark silhouette in the foreground blocking out the fireworks in the background! It was very breath-taking and very much new year themed! Great work :>

Your use of contrast between the dark sky and the brightness of the lantern and the girl really stole my focus and brought the whole piece to life! This definitely felt like new years, congratulations!
