Everyone was in Alphys' lab on the surface. Frisk, Chara, Asriel, Toriel, Asgore, Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, Napstablook, Metatton, and (of course) Alphys.
"What does it do?" Asriel asked.
"W-well. You do know the game, murder mystery, r-right?" Alphys asked.
Everyone nodded.
"It's like that. There's one killer and one Sheriff. The sheriff has to shoot the killer to win, but if the killer kills everyone, they win. If you die in the game, you turn into a ghost and can watch the rest of the game in the spectator room. But don't worry, if the game is over, you all will be back to your physical selves again." Alphys explained.
"That's a really cool idea!" Chara agreed.
"T-thanks, but anyway should we start the first game?" Alphys asked.
"I'm ready!" Asriel yelled.
The others nodded.
"Let's start" Alphys said, as she pushed the button and started the game.
