C: Y/N! What are you doing here?

Y/N: I was going to ask you the same thing!

C: I guess you're with Shawn, right?

Y/N: yeah that's true. What about you?

C: I came here to look for some company, if you know what i mean

he smirked

Y/N: hahah Carter. You never changed since then

C: i know, i know... By the way, where's Shawn?

Y/N: hmmm, nice question. Let's go sit and tell you

C: Come in my cabin, i think i didn't leave anyone there

Y/N: lol ok

we went in Carter's cabin and i explained him everything that happened between me and Shawn

C: WOW! i hadn't seen this coming

Y/N: No one, actually

C: Look y/n, i don't think that Shawn would do something like this to you. He loves you so much

Y/N: I really don't know Carter. This thing has confused me so damn much. I really need some time to think

C: y/n just think logically; he was in love with you before you even like him. We tried so hard to get you two together . You can't just end it here. 

Y/N: but i can't bear the thought of him with someone else

C: i understand but what if he was actually preparing a surprise for you?

Y/N: apparently, this was the cheapest excuse someone could ever come up with

C: well, you don't know that

i was about to say something when my phone buzzed and saw that i got a message...

it was from Shawn

i stared at my phone's  screen 

C: what happened?

he grabbed my phone from my hands and checked the message Shawn had sent me

C: aren't you going to reply?

Y/N: Shall i?

C: of course.

THE CONVERSATION

s: y/n where r u?

y/n: why does it matter?

s: y/n my mood is not the fucking best as you think

tell me NOW where are you

y/n: im with a friend

s: WHO?

y/n: Carter. He's here.

s: CARTER? THIS IS INSANE! I WANNA SEE HIM TOO

y/n: tmrw if you want. now im w/ him

s: for God's sake y/n... 

y/n: did you forget what you told me today?

why don't you reply?

of course... you can't say anything cuz ya know that im right

s: if only you knew y/n... have fun with carter , bye

i couln't hold my tears. i started crying and Carter took me in his arms and started stroking my head

C: don't worry y/n. Everything's going to be alright

he kissed the top of my head and hugged me more tightly

i moved away and stood up

C: where are you going?

Y/N: back to my room

C: okay, good night y/n

Y/N: good night Carter. Thanks for everything

i got in the cabin and saw all the lights off

i looked for Shawn when i realized that he wasn't there.

i saw a handwritten note in the bedside table.

i sobbed hard after reading it...
