Chapter 7;
*Lindsey's pov*

I can't believe it, I can't believe I just met the love of my life and he actually gave me his phone number. While I'm caught up in all my thoughts, I realized one thing.. WHERE DID SAMANTHA GO?! I instantly text her

(L= Lindsey S= Samantha)

L= hey! Where did you go I kinda lost you
S= lol I noticed, I'm buy Hayes
L= ok ok I'll meet you there
S= okay see you soon!

As I walk over to Samantha, I see her and Hayes in deep conversation. I just decide to watch them. You can totally tell that Hayes has a thing for Samantha. I mean one year age difference isn't so bad so maybe then can work it out. Before I can even realize that I have been zoned out I get pushed out of my thoughts by Samantha.

"Hey you!" Says Samantha while approaching me.

I reply with a simple "Hey Samantha"

I think she can tell I was tired because I couldn't stop yawning and I noticed she was also.

"Hey you want me to call a taxi" asks Samantha while letting out another yawn

"Ugh I thought you'd never ask" I replied with a little humor in my voice.

As we wait outside, I see my phone light up with a bunch of text messages from an unknown number.

"Crap" I mumble under my breath.

I unlock my phone and see a total of 18 texts from who I now realize was shawn. I felt so bad. I completely forgot that I was suppose to meet up with him tonight.

"Everything okay?" Asks Samantha making me jump

"Yeah everything's fine" I reply while me and Samantha get in the taxi

I go back to see all my messages from Shawn

(SM= Shawn, L= Lindsey)

SM= hey beautiful, it's shawn :)
SM= I was thinking maybe we can go get some food after this?
SM= or maybe we can just go hang out and watch netflix
SM= if that's okay with you
SM= are you there?
SM= is everything okay?

There was a whole group of more messages but my heart was breaking. I decided to just stop reading and just text him

L= hey Shawn! I'm so sorry I completely forgot about tonight I was just so tired and caug-

Before I can finish my text I look out the taxi window and we are already at the hotel. I decide to grab my bag and walk back with Samantha. As I go to look back to my phone, I run into someone.

"Oh my gosh I'm so-" I begin to say but before I can finish I realize who it is. Shawn. He cupped my face in his large hands and kissed me.

"Shawn I'm so sorry" I begin to say

"No it's fine don't worry about it, let's go back to my room" he replies with a smirk.

As me and Shawn go to his room, I look back at Samantha who is now alone. She gives me a reassuring smile as to tell me "you two have fun". This night couldn't get any better
