Your and You're

Well.
This is a mistake I see much too often.

How many of you know the difference between "your" and "you're"?

Well. I'm here to tell you the difference.
Now, I'm sure you're wondering why I get so peeved when people use the wrong one of these. Well, it's because the difference is very, very simple, and I just don't know why people can't tell. This is going to be an easy chapter.

Here's the concept:
"You're" is a conjunction. It is two words shortened into one, and the words are "you" and "are". So "you're" means "you are", as in, "You're currently reading this sentence."
"Your" is possessive. It means "something that belongs to you". As in, "You should have payed attention to your teachers in elementary school."

Sorry if I seem sassy this time. *insert sheepish smile and shrug*
I just get so peeved by this one. I mean, when you're reading a good fan fiction story, and you're a grammar troll, and then you see that the writer made a grammar mistake and you don't want to keep reading anymore but you have to to find out what the plot is, it's not fun to be alive anymore. TwT
Sorry if this was more of a rant than a chapter. I'm publishing two today, though, because I missed A LOT of writing since I started ninth grade. Second semester seems to be going much smoother, though, now that I've acclimated.
Anyway, have fun because the next chapter is about ANOTHER mix-up that gets on my nerves.

Until next time, my beauties! Have fun learning your grammar!
