Hello, readers!

So, let's get to it, shall we?

Present tense is hard for me to write in, honestly. If any of you have read my other stories, you know that I have a horrible habit of skipping between past and present tense. I know, I know, I'm working on it.

Anyway, present tense is when you write in a way that makes it seem that things are happening present-time. As Google says, it is "a tense expressing an action that is currently going on or habitually performed, or a state that currently or generally exists."

Pretty much, talking or writing like it is happening right now.

I covered past tense a while ago, so here's a refresher on the difference between the two.

Present tense means it's happening right now, the readers feel as if they are viewing something as it happens. Whereas past tense reffers to when something has already happened, like a window to the past.

Got that?
Good.

See you in a couple Mondays!

P.S,
So, I have a question for you guys!
I know that I try to keep my chapters short, easy, and digestable for your sakes so that you don't have to spend an hour reading about the differences between "to" and "too" or how to use nouns, but I want to know if I'm making them too short and difficult to understand. Go ahead and critique me in the comments, guys! *puts on armor and picks up sheild* I am emotionally prepared! Hit me with the truth. How am I doing?
