Rebirth [Akira Fudo x Ryo Asuka] (Devilman Crybaby)

Chapter 1: Darkness

"Hey! Why aren't you speaking?... Akira! Don't leave me alone!"
Ryo's, rather Satan's, words rang through Akira Fudo's, no the Devilman's, ears. His vision was fading and his body grew limp and cold.
'Is this death?' He thought to himself as his life drained from his body.
'It's not at peaceful as I'd have thought'. With this, Akira Fudo breathed his last breath; his icy figure was pulled towards the warm body of Satan, tears streaming down his face. The Earth was truly empty and Satan was truly alone. He gazed up into the black sky from the death ridden planet, Akira still held close, and hoped to be taken away from this abyss of lonliness and sorrow.
Divine light rained down on the world, destroying everything, their past lives, homes, memories, themselves. Everything. God had failed again.
