MYA
The next day at school, Mya sat in her first-period writing class, working on an assignment that Mrs. Woodley gave the class to do. The assignment was writing how you feel. Mya is trying her best to stay focus but the sounds of people whispering/snickering and paper balls being thrown was distracting her. She rolled her eyes in irritation and continue writing.
How could you do me like this?
After all the love and things, I gave to you?
You played me.
A tear escaped from her eye, hitting the paper as she sniffled then went inside her purse to grab some tissue to carefully dry her eyes cause she was wearing makeup and didn't want it to smear.
Mrs. Woodley's eyes moved from her computer to Mya as she looked at her with concern.
"Ms. Harrison?" She called out getting Mya's attention.
The class stopped what they are doing and eyes were all on Mya. She felt her heart race for some odd reason, she felt uncomfortable. Her head raises slowly from her desk as she brought her focus on Mrs. Woodley.
"Yes, Mrs. Woodley?" She replied in a softest, baby-like tone.
"You ok?" Mya felt her eyes getting watery as she nodded her head. She fake-smiled as she lied to try to hide the pain that embedded inside her.
"I'm fine, thank you." Mrs. Woodley smiled as she turned her focus back to the computer.
Mya is one of Mrs. Woodley's favorite students. She describes her as sweet, funny, and very smart. Even though she is her student, she loved her like that was her own.
Thoughts of her and Bryon flashed through her mind as the tears kept flowing. She doesn't know why she is crying over him like that, Bryon did her wrong and she deserves better.
Mya took more tissue from the purse and patted her face dry as she got back to her assignment.
Suddenly, she felt a tap on her shoulder that made her groan lowly and turn halfway around in her seat.
It was Timothy. With a big smile and holding a folded paper out in his hand.
She looked away to roll her eyes then manage to give a small smile and sweet voice to him.
"Yes, Timmy?" She said in a politely but low.
Timothy shudders and 'oohed' to the way she said his name. Timothy had a huge crush on Mya since freshman year of high school. They had both classes together, that was P.E. and writing. He knew she didn't like him but that didn't stop him from flirting with her. He hopes someday that Mya has a change of heart and go out with him. But he forgot that she's dating the one they called ripsta. Bizzy.
Mya mentally made a disgusted face and groaned as she manages to keep that smile on her face.
"Someone wanted me to give you this." He leans forward a bit to give her the note and blow an air kiss as he lay back in his chair and some of the class snickered.
