Fire! Fire! Someone help!

"Toby... I think you can be the male lead's understudy, but first, I think you should see what we have so far. Tyler is the role you need to perfect to be his understudy." Mrs. Earnst said to Tomoe.

"And action!" We started the play, where I sing about the honor of something.

"I'm here!" My 'mother' gave me a scowling look.

"What?"

"Your late!"

"But mama, I had to-"

"None of your excuses! Now let's get you cleaned up!" The music starts at that moment when she pushes me to another stage. A girl comes and sings first.

"This is what you give me to work with? Well, honey I've seen worst. We're gonna turn this sows ear, into a silk purse." She finished. And stripped me of some of my clothes, then put me in an old bath. But remember, this is a school play.

"It's freezing!" I said, I could see some people have blushes in their faces, mostly guys.

"Well, it would've been warmer, if you came on time!"

"Well have you,washed and dried. Primped and polished, till you glow with pride. Trust my recipe for instant bride, you'll bring honor to us all." My 'mother' was gonna scrub my arms.

"Mulan? What's this?" In the beginning I wrote notes on my arms.

"Ugh... notes? In case I forget something?"

"Hold this, we'll need more luck than I thought so." my 'grandmother' told my fake mother.

"Wait and see, when we're through, boys will gladly go to war for you With good fortune and a great hairdo! You'll bring honor to us all!" Two other girls played with my hair and made a bun. I don't like to do that to my hair. I got out and others sang the song while I helped some 'old folks' with a game of checkers... well I think it was checkers, maybe Chinese checkers? OFF TOPIC!

"Men want girls, with good taste. Calm, obediente, who work fast paced. With good breeding,and a tiny waist! You'll bring honor to us all!" I gave a 'help me!' face to the audience because at the 'waist' part, they crushed my lungs. I think they really wanted to do that.

Time skip to end of play

"Now Toby, that is what you are suppose to do, got it?" Tomoe's mouth was hanging at the performance... I wonder why? Tomoe gave the teacher a 'yes mam' look and I got changed back to my regular clothes. When I got out...

"Okay I got my pho- HOLY SHITAKI MUSHROOMS!" I saw that I was about to smack my face into Tomoe's face because he just had to randomly show up all in my grill. He kept on staring at me with his arms hanging to the side.

"What, Tomoe?" I asked through one of his faces that he's giving me.

"I didn't know that you could act like that, or do that at all. Or even sing."

"Sorry, if I sing like a dying cat! Apparently you haven't seen me on earth!'' I sighed.

''Anyway, did the bell ring?" I wondered.

"Yes, I heard a bell go off like five minutes ago."

"Oh crap! Wait... Do you smell that?"

"What? The burning of posters and smoke?"

"I don't think that bell was for the next class... I think it was for a-"

"Fire! Fire in the drama department!" I heard some teachers yell out.

"Tomoe! We need to get out now!" He was staring at where the fire was.

"Holy mother of tacos!"

Third person's POV

Tomoe and Emi were the only people in the drama department. Emi was panicking after the sight of the fire. Everyone near the department evacuated the areas, so did Mizuki and Nanami with Emi's friends. Once they saw the drama students outside,they knew that something was wrong.

"Mizuki, where's Tomoe and Emi?!"

"I don't know! I don't see them in their class! Don't tell me they're..." They both knew what Mizuki was about to say, but neither of them had the courage to say it aloud.

"We have to get in there!" Nanami yelled. They ran into the burning building. Everyone saw what they were doing, and only some of them asked why they were doing that. Nanami and Mizuki didn't answer them, they just ran in. They looked around and finally found them. They where surrounded by flames.

"Tomoe! Emi!" They both yelled in perfect sync.

"Guys! Please help!" Emi screamed to them. Nanami tried to find something to help them, but the room didn't have a fire extinguisher or anything. Since they couldn't find one, Emi started to brew up a plan to help her friends, she didn't care what happened to her, she just wanted her friends safety. Emi realized that she had one talisman in her pocket, she found a pen on the floor and wrote on the talisman 'path to outside' and threw it onto the flames.

"Tomoe! Run!" He did what he was told and Emi tried to find the others. Once she found them, she told them to get out. They got out and she started to head to the door. While she ran, the ceiling broke and blocked her path. Tomoe was next to the door during that moment to ensure that everyone got out.

"Emi! Where are you!" He looked around, but he couldn't see her.

"Over here!" She yelled. Tomoe ran to the sound of her voice. He saw that she couldn't get out.

"Tomoe! Go! I can't find a way out!"

"I'm not going to leave you here!"

"You have to! I don't want you to get hurt!" She started to cry, and loose her vision because of the smoke everywhere.

"Tomoe..."

Cough! Cough!

"Just... Go without me." She passed out in the middle of the fire. Tomoe didn't want to leave her, so he jumped over the fire at the right time, then grabbed Emi's passed out body, bridal style. He jumped over the broken ceiling and walked out of the building. All girls were squealing at Tomoe and what he was doing and some girls were pissed at the passed out girl, Tomoe was caring. He walked to Winter, Tyler, Cameron, Niall, Nanami, Mizuki, and Scarlette with Emi. They were all shocked at what they were seeing.

Finally, the fire fighters and the medics arrived. And they first spot Emi.

"What happened to her?" One fire fighter asked.

"Please help her! She was stuck in the building and she's passed out!" Nanami told him.

"Okay," he tried to get her from Tomoe, but he wouldn't nudge until Winter told him that the person was going to help her. He didn't want to give her up to that stranger, but he had no choice. The fire fighter ran to the medics and gave Emi away. They checked for any burns or wounds.

"Don't worry everyone! She is alright! She just passed out because of all the smoke she inhaled! All she needs is some fresh air and rest." Everyone sighed, but someone sighed of anger in the crowd.

Dang it! She's still alive!

Emi's POV

I passed out and I was in dream land... Or so I though.

Where am I?

"Oh Emi! Your back!"

Who? Who is that?

''What's up, kiddo?''

I know that voice anywhere! It's... its...

"I was wondering when you would come back. How have you been?"

"Mi... Mikage?"
