I ran to my room and went into my closet for another Mountain Dew. What do I do? I never liked someone and I never really met someone who actually liked me for me like Tomoe... but... he still likes Nanami too... I can't do that to her... she's like another best friend to me... what do I do now? If only I never went to their dimension. If only I never existed... I wouldn't have all this drama. The only good thing that I got to meet some really good people that helped me along the way. I took a sip of my Mountain Dew and I went on my phone. I saw that I had messages from my friends.

Winter: I'm so sry 4 u.💧

Scarlette: I can't believe it... I'm so sry.😿

Niall: Sry 4 ur loss.😭

Emi: wht r u talking about❓❓❓

Winter: U didn't c the news?

Emi: No, I had a date with the stalker from school. So what happened?

Scarlette: Ur mom got in a car accident in the freeway in Atlanta

Niall: she... died

I dropped my phone and got out of my closet. I went on my bed and cried. I heard footsteps coming and the person opened the door. It was Mizuki. He looked at me, wondering what happened.

"What happened, Emi?"

"My mom died." I couldn't help but cry more. Mizuki's eyes widened. He went and told Nanami and Tomoe, none of them came. So Mizuki tried to help me until I remembered something. I went into my moms room and I got some things. I got my debit and credit card, and my mom told me, when I was a kid, that she hid some money that she saved up, in the on place I knew. So I got a picture frame with my mom, dad, and myself. I opened the back and found some money. It was $50,000. I also took the picture out and got some scissors. I cut out my mom's face and my dad's face. I looked through my mom's jewelry and found a gold locket. I put the pictures in it and put it around my neck. I wanted to remember them because even though my dad was mean and he is still living, He's still part of the family. And my mom... she was the best mom I could ever have. She got me stuff I've always wanted and she would be there for me in bad situations. She was awesome... but now she's... gone. I cried more at the sound of that until I heard the door knock. I wiped off my tears and went downstairs to open the door. I got down and looked out of the peep hole we had and I saw a cop.

"Hello," I said opening the door.

"Are you Emily North?" The cop asked.

"Yes,"

"Well, as you probably know, your mother was in an incident on the freeway."

"Yes," My voice cracked.

"We have your mother here, and we wondered if you would like to see her."

"I think I'd rather not, officer. I might break down."

"Okay, we wanted to see if your dad's home so we could try to give her a proper funeral." My heart broke at that because I didn't want to see my mother get buried.

"Um... my father passed away when I was seven, so my mother was my only guardian."

"I see... well since you are still under the age of 18, you will have to live with any close relatives till you reach maturity."

"Um... before my mother passed, she allowed me to help my friends who lost their families, get by. But I won't be able to live with knowing that they aren't safe so please let me stay. I really want to help them until they get back on their feet."

"Well, I don't see why not then, but you have to get a job."

"Yes sir. Anything else?"

"No, we will leave your mother at the North Georgia Hospital. So when any funeral preparations are made, contact the hospital."

"Alright." He left and I waved. I turned around and saw Nanami. Her arms were crossed.

"Nanami?"

"I thought you were my friend!" She stomped upstairs and I followed her.

"Nanami! What? I don't get it! Please tell me!" I went into my room and saw Nanami on her bunk. "Nanami! Please tell me!" She sighed.

"I heard your conversation with Tomoe, so I snooped in and I saw you kissing Tomoe." My eyes widened.

"Okay, it's true, bu-"

"You knew I liked Tomoe! Ever since I told you in the other dimension!! You knew but you went behind my back and kissed him!"

"I didn't kiss him!!"

"Then what was that?! Before we came here, he kissed me!! He wouldn't hurt me!!!"

"I know but-"

"But nothing!! I won't forgive you!!"

"You can hit me if it feels better," I told her. She was filled with rage but I didn't care, I just wanted us to be friends again. Then she slapped me and I fell to the ground. Tomoe came in and saw a red mark on my face and Nanami standing up.

"Are you alright Emi?!"

"So now you came to help. You didn't even come when I figured out that my mom died!! His eyes widened.

"What? Your mom died?"

"Yes, but you didn't even help me! You just stayed in your room!" I just stormed into my closet and stayed there.

"I'm sorry about your mom.." Tomoe said.

"No you aren't! Just get out of my room!"

"Okay..." I could hear his footsteps go away and I sighed. I got some Kit Kat from my fridge and ate it.

Why don't they listen?! I just want everything to stop!!

"I just want it to stop!!" I yelled out. I felt a chill go down my spine. And when I opened the closet door, everything was frozen.
