This is just an FYI before you continue reading the first chapter....
For this series, alone, I've been planning on writing orginal songs to go along with a couple respective chapters. For the movies/original books, Descendants has always been a musical and have sung songs that go along with the scene at hand. I've really wanted to challenge myself and do the same as well.
However, I haven't gone onto that yet. I still need time, and I'm going to be collaborating with my cousin , who is a great hobbiest songwriter, to get all 8-10 songs exactly where I want them to be. [They'll only be lyrics, by the way, as I don't have a studio or the right equipment to actually record songs, as cool as it would be.]
For now, there will simply be chapters that I'll publish, but I hope one day I'll accompany selected chapters with songs that I've written to really make it feel like it's a traditional Disney musical.
Nevertheless, enjoy reading "Tale of the Outlanders"....
