Penelope:

Hair: light brown, midway down shoulders
Eyes: light sea green, identical to Percys
Mother: Sally Jackson, previously married to Gabe, now single
Father: unknown, for now.
Siblings: twin brother, Percy Jackson
Personality: shy and bouncy. Cracks jokes when nervous. Trouble maker, not by choice. Quiet, until you know her, then you want to cover your ears.

"Nelli, Perc! You got to get up! New school!" My mom, Sally Jackson, called from the kitchen of our small New York apartment.
I heard Percy groaning, probably still clutching to his dreams of blue pizza, or dad still with us. I swing my legs off the small, ocean blue, bed covers.
I wonder what people are like here?
As I open my closet, an idea pops into my head, but is quickly shaken away. My dyslexia is to bad for that.
I dress into a blue soft hoodie, and dark wash jeans.
I look into a mirror, and see my bright, sea green eyes staring back. I groan, checking the brown wall clock,
"Crap"
I mutter under my breath.
Ten minutes to eat, find all the stuff I need for school, and get to school.
"Hey, Penelope," Percy greets, as I walk out of my room, carrying a nice green backpack, that as pure coincidence, matches my eyes.
"Nelli, can you walk to school?"
"Mom, I'm seventeen, yes I can walk to school," I laugh.
"Here," Percy shoves a protein bar into my hand as I sprint out the door.

(Now magically at school)

I rush into the doors, and enter the principals office.
"Hi, um, I'm Penelope Jackson,"
I tell the nice lady at the front desk.
"Hello, I'm guess you got here alright?"
"No I died a few times,"
The lady's face goes from sweet and helpful, to horrified. Great.
"Can I just see Mr. Russel?"
"Go right in,"
"Thanks,"

(Magically in class)

"Hello, class. I'd like you to welcome our new student, Ms Jackson?"
"Hello, I'm Penelope Jackson, you can call me Nelli, uh, yea,"
"Sit where ever you'd like,"
"Thank you,"

I scan the room, looking for empty spaces. I suddenly see a girl, with black hair, and the most horrifying red eyes.
I walk next to her,
"May I sit here?"
"Yea, I'm Rose,"
"Nelli,"
I think I just made a friend.
