Chapter 6

Luke's POV:

'You found yourself a cutie, then, didn't you?' Says Michael.

'She's not my girlfriend,' I say defensively.

'You literally picked her up off the street, didn't you?' Teases Ashton.

'She can't've been there for long,' I say, 'I never saw her before today.'

'Well, she probably moves street corners!' I hear Izzy say as she enters the room.

'So, how long are we keeping her?' Lianne teases.

'She's not my girlfriend!'

'Yet,' says Calum teasingly.

'She just needed to wash up and use the phone!'

'She's cute, though, right?' Says Calum.

'Wha- yeah, course she's cute,' says Luke.

'Great, so we won't have a problem!' Says Charlotte, appearing.

'She's not going to be my girlfriend, she'll just call her parents, and get outta here!' I moan.

'Nah, we all know no one can resist Luke Hemmings,' teases Izzy.

'Not even Michael,' says Charlotte. Michael promptly reaches over and hugs me, smiling.

'Ok... Get... Off... Me...' I say, pulling at Michael's arms.

Michael finally let's go, and says, 'well you're in a world-famous band, mate. That's makes you pretty much irresistible.'

'Don't tell her that!' I respond too quickly.

'Why?' Says Lianne.

'Well, it'd just seem braggy...' I mutter.

'Aww, you like her, don't you?' Ashton teases.

'No, I just don't want to -' my voice is drowned out by the others chanting, 'you like her! You like her!'

'Ok, shut up!' I say finally.

'Aww, Lukey found a girlfriend!' Charlotte teases.

'She's not my girlfriend!'

'I give them three weeks,' says Ashton, and everyone seems to agree.
