I looked over at Kennedy as she rubbed on her stomach, she looks like she's in pain
"Baby you good? Just asked concerned
"Yeah" she whines and she puts her head on my lap
"No you not" I say putting my fingers through her thick curly hair "you wanna go to the doctor?" I ask and she shakes her head "no jake I just wanna lay down she mumbles" and she gets up and walks towards the bedroom and I follow
She lays on the bed and I lay beside her and she lays her head on my chest "jake my 😻 still hurts"
"It's been a whole week....how tf" I say laughing hard
"I don't know, I can't sit right, it be aching and shit it's not funny" she says mean mugging me
"Aww I'm sorry" I laugh "want me to rub it for you?" I ask and she smirks
"No nasty" she laughs as she sits up looking at me
She puts her fingers through my hair and leans down placing her lips against mine
"I love you" she says as we pull away
"I love you too" I say
Later on that night
I wake up as I hear Kennedy crying in her sleep
"Ken, baby" I say shaking her
"Yeah?" She asked sitting up wiping her tear covered face
"What's wrong?" I ask
"My stomach really hurts" she whines
I get up and stretch "come on we're going to the hospital"
"It's 12am though" she says sitting up
"It doesn't matter , what if something is going wrong?" I ask
"Something like what?"
"Ken it's your stomach, what if your pregnant or sum?" I ask
"Is that possible?" She replies
"Yes Ken we've been fucking"
She sighs deeply and gets up to get dressed
At the hospital
"Kennedy Louise" the doctor calls and we walk into the room
We tell the doctor the issue and she pulls the gel on Kennedy's stomach and the camera thing
I twiddle my thumbs nervously as I wait for the result
The doctor sighs showing something isn't right
"Is everything okay?" I ask getting impatient
"I'm not quite sure yet, there is one thing that this pain could possibly be causing but I don't know for sure yet" she says concentrating on the monitor screen
I look down at Kennedy who looks scared
5 minutes later the doctor puts the camera to the side and wipes the gel of Kennedy's stomach
"So I'm not sure if you knew this but you are pregnant by a few weeks but unfortunately the baby seems to be passing away...now there's nothing we can do about miscarriages, I think the best way you could possibly save the baby is not do any strenuous activities such as cleaning and lifting stuff and obviously the usual don't smoke don't drink or take any drugs...I'm sorry" the doctor explained
As soon as we got into the car she broke down crying
"It's okay baby everything will be okay" I said rubbing her back
"What if it's not what if the baby dies Jacob" she cries harder
"Don't think like that" I say comforting her
"I love you, and our Lil baby ...okay"
"Yeah" she says quietly looking down as more tears fall off her face
I place my hand on her thigh as I drove down the road
Short but effective 🙂I'll probably update again tonight as it's the weekend
