Danielle

"D'Angelo..." I say not looking at him.

"Which D'Angelo?" Kyle asked.

"Russell."

"Why the fuck are you texting him?" Kyle asked getting angry at me.

"He's my friend!" I say raising my voice a little.

"Your friend?" Kyle says with a slight laugh. "Since when?"

"A while ago!"

"You know that nigga likes you!" Kyle shakes his head. "I know damn well you see his comments on your post!"

"I didn't think you would be this mad!" I say looking up at him.

"I was mad when I saw that article about you two! I let that shit slide, Danielle, but now y'all be texting each other!" He yells getting off the bed.

"Boy, it's not like I'm sending him nudes or flirting with him! We are just friends!" I yell back at him.

"Then why keep it a secret?" Kyle asked. "Why not tell me!" Kyle shakes his head.

I just shrugg my shoulders looking down.

"Let me see your messages with him! If your not hiding anything with him!" Kyle puts his hand out to take my phone.

I look at him sideways. "Your not gonna trust my word?"

"I trust your word, I just need proof."

"So you don't trust what I'm saying?" I roll my eyes. I throw him my phone and I get off the bed.

"Whatever, go ahead! Look through the whole phone if you want! Your not gonna find shit!" I tell him.

I walk towards his room door opening it.

I see his whole family there at the door.

They were all listening to us argue.

I walk past them towards the front door, I put on my nike slides.

Kyle follows me.

"Where the fuck are you going?"

"A walk..." I look at him. "Alone, don't follow me!"

I open the front door and start to walk away from Kyle's house.

I hear the door open and footsteps behind me. I keep walking.

Someone grabs my arm and turns me around.

I see Kyle there. He has some sweats in his hand and a sweater.

"Put this on it's freezing, I know your cold!" Kyle says.

I take the clothes and put on the sweats over my basketball shorts; I throw the sweater on over my sports bra.

"Thank you." I mumble.

He hands me my inhaler.

Even when he's mad at me he's still sweet! I think to myself.

A smile makes it way to my face and it quickly disappears.

No, bitch, your mad at him, don't smile!

My trigger to my asthma is the cold weather and running too much.

I turn to walk away but Kyle grabs my arm again.

He shoves my phone forward.

"Keep it, you wanted it so bad!" I say pushing my phone back at him.

Before he can reply, I turn, walking away.

I take two puffs from my inhaler and I walk down the street.

I don't know where I'm going, I'm just walking.
