It's okay to tell lies!!

Chapter Seven

Deceit had sensed that Thomas was no longer evil, he growled with frustration as he knew the evil sanders sides were responsible. Deceit stomped to where the evil sanders sides were trapped, "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THOMAS!!" Deceit screamed furiously. The evil sanders sides looked at him puzzled, "whatever do you mean?" sneered Patton. Deceit growled back at him, "you know damn well what I'm talking about!!, Thomas is no longer evil!!, don't think I don't know it was you four responsible!!" Deceit scowled. The sanders sides each looked at other pretending to look even more confused, before evil Virgil broke the silence. "IT WAS ROMAN!! Roman scowled at Virgil, "NO IT WASN'T IT WAS LOGAN!! Logan grunted at Roman, "I'LL DESTROY YOU ROMAN!! IT WAS PATTON SEEING AS HE LOVES THOMAS SO MUCH!!" Patton sneered in disgust "why would I help someone like Thomas?!!, he's now a lost cause!!" "ENOUGH!!" Deceit embarked furiously, "I should have remembered that whilst you're down here, all you're capable of doing is telling lies, so I can't trust anything you all say, however I can avert my evil plan by poisoning Thomas again only this time I'll be using the snakes to infect him!! Deceit grinned evilly as he saw the evil sanders sides look back at him in horror, for they knew if Thomas got infected by their full evil essence, the poison would kill him and destroy them.

Thomas was back in his bed in the hospital ward, he couldn't stop crying as he remembered what he had done to some of his other friends and the negative comments he had posted on his social media. Thomas knew the sanders sides were in danger and he had no way of helping them, plus knowing that they were still evil didn't help. Thomas saw the nurse that helped him to take him to Leo who was still in critical condition in intensive care. "Good morning Mr Sanders, how are you feeling today?!!, are the painkillers working okay?!!" Thomas nodded his head, "yes they're working okay, how long will I be kept in hospital for?" The nurse gave Thomas a reassuring smile, "I want to say a few days yet, we want to stabilise your mobility first as you did fracture your leg in the accident" Thomas looked back at her sadly "will I be able to go see Leo again, I really want to be close to him!!" The nurse smiled back at him "yes you can, we have a volunteer coming over here to take you to the intensive care ward in a couple of hours, you'll have more time to be there with him too!!" Thomas gave the nurse a comforting smile, "thank you so much!!" The nurse smiled back at him in response before walking off to her next job.

Deceit was getting ready to attack Thomas, he grabbed the snake jars and placed them in separate pockets of his long coat, he knew now would be the best opportunity to make his attack. He shimmered out of his lair and appeared in front of Thomas who had fallen back to sleep. Deceit opened each jar and ordered the snakes to attack. The snakes flew to different parts of Thomas's body and bit him at the same time, causing Thomas to wake up screaming in pain and paralysed from the bites. The evil essences transferred into Thomas's body before the snakes each evaporated into dust once their essence had left them leaving Thomas glowing different colours. Deceit sensed that someone was coming to help Thomas, so with a wave of his hand, he shimmered both himself and Thomas back to his lair.

The evil sanders sides sensed what had happened, they knew they only had a limited amount of time before the evil essences killed Thomas and themselves. Deceit appeared before them and threw Thomas onto the ground, who whimpered in pain as he fell. Deceit gave the evil sanders sides an evil grin "times almost up!!, now you can watch your precious host die in front of you!!" The sanders sides looked down at Thomas who was still paralysed from the evil essences, he could see them watching him, the sanders sides signalled him to close his eyes. Thomas immediately closed his eyes and tried to find the sanders sides in his mind. Roman appeared before him first, "Thomas our evil selves is what's attacking you right now, Deceit attacked our personal traits, making us lie about who we are and how we affect you as a whole. We need you to fight off each essence individually as it's too strong to do it together. You have to remember why I inspire you so much, what created me!! You have to fight the lie!! Thomas looked away from Roman's glance "I don't think I can!! I'm not good enough anymore!!" "Thomas please try, remember when you first created me, what made me so special to you?!!" Roman pleaded. Thomas looked back at Roman with tears in his eyes, "I found my passion for performing whilst I was still at school, it was my escape from being bullied by others who didn't like my eccentric behaviour, it made me feel wanted even more because I found I wasn't alone in being creative in wanting to sing and act, even though I enjoyed playing the villains, I loved playing the hero, which is why I created you, you're the hero I always wanted to be!!" Roman smiled at him with tears in his eyes, he watched as the red glowing stopped on Thomas's body before his prince outfit returned back onto him. Thomas looked at Roman so proudly, "thank you Thomas, I knew you could do it, I know it was hard for you to do that, but I believe that you can get the others back too!!" Roman disappeared out of Thomas's sight, before Logan appeared in front of him. "I know that you can do this Thomas, why am I so important to you?!! Logan grunted at him. Thomas looked at Logan nervously "Logic has always been a strong fascination of mine for a long time, when I found out I really enjoyed learning about so many different subjects, I felt the need to share my knowledge. Logan I created you because I wanted to teach myself and others the importance of so many different beautiful things and how it can make a positive impact in the world, you've helped me become a more understanding person, you are a mentor who's guidance I appreciate always!! Logan gave Thomas a reassuring grin as he watched Thomas stop glowing green and saw his teacher outfit appear upon him once again. Thomas smiled at him as he saw Logan disappear before him. It wasn't long before Patton appeared in front of him, which made Thomas feel scared. "Thomas don't be afraid, I know seeing me like this is easy, but I believe in you kiddo!! Thomas gave Patton a reassuring smile, Patton you mean so much to me, I created you because you are the parent I want to be to my children, you inspired me to give so many people so much love and support, I always wanted to make my family and friends and my supporters be apart of a bigger family, where I can love and cherish them all!! Whenever I hug someone, I always tell myself I just want to hug them like I'm keeping them safe like my own dad would!! Patton I love you because you are so much like my dad and I always want to make the both of you proud!! Patton looked at Thomas with tears in his eyes, "I'm so proud of you kiddo!!" Patton smiled at him as he watched Thomas stop glowing purple and his dad outfit return back onto him. Patton disappeared, leaving Thomas alone briefly before Virgil appeared before him, Thomas knew this one was going to be the hardest. Virgil looked at him evilly, "I guess it's just you and me now, I will say I'm not holding my breath, I doubt very much that you want to change me back!!" Thomas looked at him angrily "Virgil how dare you assume what I'm gonna say!! you need to stop with the lies, I know it's how Deceit controlled you before I accepted who you were!! Virgil looked at him nervously, "Virgil you need to remember the day we all accepted you!! Yes you're my anxiety, but recently you've been helping me get through so much self hate, I don't think I could have survived if you were still working with Deceit!!, Virgil I'm so glad that you gave us a chance to prove to you that you are wanted, I will always need you!!" Virgil shimmered back into his anxiety outfit, he watched as Thomas stopped glowing altogether. Thomas smiled back at him, "time to deal with Deceit once and for all!!" Virgil smirked, "he's been messing with up all for far too long!!" Thomas closed his eyes telling himself to wake up. Deceit saw Thomas wake up and sit up, Thomas was looking up at him angrily, Deceit watched as the sanders sides transform back into their former selves, which caused their glass pods to smash open, letting them free to get to Thomas. The sanders sides each helped Thomas get onto to feet, supporting his fractured leg. Thomas and the sanders sides had Deceit trapped, the sanders sides each held up their hands towards Deceit, their true essence flowed towards him. Thomas watched as the essence transformed Deceit into something new, Deceit had now become Honesty. Thomas looked on in awe as Honesty looked at himself for the first time. Honesty was now wearing an tee-shirt covered in rainbows and clouds, light blue/grey jeans, his hair was rainbow colours. Honesty looked at Thomas and the sanders sides for the first time and looked down ashamed of himself, Thomas walked over to him and gave him a reassuring smile, "I know that lies are easier to make, but I find honesty suits me better!!" Thomas and the other sanders sides gave Honesty a big smile, "now why don't we get the heck out of here!!" Thomas and the sanders sides each held hands and shimmered back to the hospital. The sanders sides each helped Thomas get back into his bed, just before the nurse came back into the room. The sanders sides each quickly disappeared before they were spotted. "Are you okay Mr Sanders? I heard you shouting!!" Thomas looked at the nurse embarrassingly "I was having a bad dream, it felt so real, I'm sorry if I scared you!!" The nurse looked at him concerned, "I'm afraid that it might have been the medication, sometimes they can cause people to have vivid nightmares, but I just wanted to let you know that you have a visitor!" Leo popped his head around the curtain with a smile on his face, "Hey stranger how are you doing?!!" Thomas looked at him speechlessly before he started to cry "Leo!! I'm so happy to see you!! Leo gave Thomas a huge hug, Thomas started sobbing into Leo's shoulder, "I'm so sorry that I hurt you!!" Leo looked at Thomas confused "Thomas what are you talking about, you haven't hurt me!!" Thomas looked at him confused "I was so horrible to you, I got you hurt in that traffic accident!!" Thomas started sobbing again. Leo comforted him, "Thomas you've been unconscious for the past week, I wasn't even there at the accident you're talking about, I've been waiting for you to wake up the whole time!!" "I dreamt the whole thing, it felt so real!!" Thomas sniffled "I became evil and I hurt you and so many others, I was telling myself it was okay to tell lies and become the exact opposite of who I was!!" Leo smiled at him, "Thomas you are not evil, you love and care for so many people, I love knowing who you are and being your friend, I know the real you and that's the most important thing to remember!!" Leo laid next to Thomas in his bed, the sanders sides watching over them, they each smiled at each other, feeling the positive energy returning back to them, they had won this chapter of their story.
