Chapter 9) New Guy ???

Angel's Pov

So I called my sister Evelynn and told her everything . She told me that me and Priscilla can crash at her place for the night. By the time I got there , Priscilla was already sleep in her seat . Before I got her out of her seat I called Evelynn and told her to open the door. She sent out her boyfriend Zac to come help me with our bags. I quickly took Priscilla to the guest bedroom and softly laid her on the bed . I quietly turned off the lights and closed the door. Then made my way back into the living room.

" Hey can you guys keep it down in here ? Priscilla is sleeping ." I asked softly

" How are you going to come to my house and boss us around ? " Evelynn asked in between laughs

" Sorry I guess its mommy syndrome " I said giggling

" Ahh, so do you plan on going back to Josh's house anytime soon? " Evelynn asked

" No , why would I ? " I smartly asked

" Maybe because hes the father of your daughter and your fiance " She said as if it wasn't already wasn't obvious

" So ? I raised Priscilla by myself for the last two years . Just because she has a father doesnt mean I can't do it alone still " I explain

" But what is best for Cill? A family or two seperate households ? Don't give her the same childhood we had Angel . Give her better than what we ever had . She deserves it " Evelynn said as she starred into my eyes

" Well that would makes since but for right now I'm just gonna let things simmer down and then I'll decide on whats best for my daughter " I said shrugging my shoulders

" Alright so me and Zacc were gonna watch a scary movie ? You wanna watch one with us? " Evelynn asked trying to change the subject

" Sure why not ? " I replied with a smile

So we decide to watch the Conjuring and boy let me tell you that movie was crazy. I giggled a couple of times because I had seen so many faces from Evelynn . Even Zac jumped a few times . After the movie I decided I was tired and went to sleep .

NEXT MORNING

I woke up before everyone else so I decided to go for a jogg. I was only running for about 20 minutes before some guy ran into me . I looked up to see a guy with glossy carmel skin and some chocolate eyes .

" Im sorry beautiful , let me help you up ." The guy said

" Thanks " I said as he said he pulled me up

" Your welcome " He answered

I looked down to notice he toned body . I noticed I was starring so I tried to make it look like I was looking at my knee

" its okay to look . " He said as he bit his lip

I nearly died

" Okay I'm sorry but I have to go . " I said as I try start my jog

I felt my arm being tugged . I turned around to see the same guy holding my arm.

" Yeah ? " I asked

" I'm sorry beautiful but I didn't catch your name . " He said smiling

" Angel " I replied

" Well I'm Khalil and I jogg about this time every morning so maybe I can see you again sometime " He said as he began he jog again

I giggled and began jogging again. I like the fact that he wasn't thristy but he made it clear that he was flirting . And im not gonna lie he is very cute .
