Narrator's P.O.V.

Only few days have passed, and both Jungkook and Ji Yeon went back to their usual lives, worked harder in their jobs and what's even better, they both became close friends.

Except that Jungkook never really moved on.

There was always this part of his heart that would hurt every time she talked about Jimin.

Although he knew he had to get over all these thoughts that he had in his head, seeing Jimin brought them back.

He knew the day would come.

The day YeonMin will be real.

Sadly,the day has come way too soon.

He just woke up one morning to find Jimin hand in hand with Yeoni. It could have been a friendly way, but, the way their arms touched each other , and the way they talked all were enough proof.

Jungkook had no chance.

He tried his best to pretend to not notice them.
But Jimin had to make it worse by calling his name.

"Hey, Jungkook, how are you?"Jimin asked as he approached him, still holding Ji Yeon's hand.

"I'm fine..."He answers coldly without looking at his hyung.

Jungkook walks away from them.

It wasn't Jimin's fault.

It wasn't Yeoni's either.

Jungkook knew that very well.

It was his fault.

His fault for being a fool and falling for his friend.

He had to cope with his shattered heart for the rest of his life now.

He couldn't move on.

He loved her too much.

Jealousy took over him, he had to stay away from his elder so he wouldn't suffer too. Especially seeing Jungkook in such a state.

He pretended to be sick and stayed home for the rest of the day. Of course members want to check on his safety , but he managed to get them to believe he was suck and just needed to stay at home for rest.

Was he actually sick?

Sick of life?

Or sick of his thoughts?Or his jealousy?

He couldn't stand the thought of Jimin being with the girl he liked.He knew he was being selfish, he knew Jimin doesnt have a clue about Kook's feelings for Ji Yeon, but he still wanted to seperate them.

It was gonna hurt either, or both.

But he didn't seem to care.

He thought of many ways to get them to break up without anyone knowing it was him.In the end, he got none , because all his plans would lead to only one thing, which is her figuring out about his plans.

Ji Yeon wasn't a dumb little girl who asked others to defend her, she wasn't that foolish child whom he loves anymore.

She changed.

In fact, they all changed.

She grew up to be a very hard working woman, who knows how to take care of herself.

And He grew up to be a man who knows his talents well, and where to use them.

He remembers that he once was a child who pretended to be brave, when he was just as scared as the others, whenever a small dog barked at him and his friends.

Although he wasn't the child at all any longer, he still shares one fear with his younger self.

He feared his future.

Jungkook is scared of what will happen in his life.

His horrible thoughts and nightmares all seemed to happen, it was like his brain wrote his own life story.

It was hard for him to live like this.

He knew that Jimin doesnt deserve her.

Jungkook knew she will break Jimin's heart one day.

And that one day will be the day she knows she has never even liked Jimin, and it was just her telling herself that, hiding who she actually loved.

He knew who she truly loved now.

He just had to think deeper  before being all negative to himself.

After all, his brain did  write his life story.

Just a small explanation:

Jungkook hated himself and his life like it was said in the other chapters.

But he never really thought about it, he just hated himself and that was all he knew.

Also, everything in his brain, like nightmares and stuff seemed to happen. So he gathered up all the evidence and put it all together showing that he actually knew she didn't like Jimin.

-also, I wrote this when I was kinda sleepy, so In case u guys really didn't like one of the parts, Tell me-
