Under the Sakura Trees,
That is where I will be.
But when you come to look for me,
You will be astounded by what you see.

Beautiful pink leaves,
That could be mistaken for petals.
Clinging tightly to their branches,
Providing me shelter.

"Shelter from what?" you may ask,
Why, from the world of course.
The cold, cruel place,
Where kindness is hard to find.

While I sit here under the Sakura Trees,
I can finally just be me.
No fear of judgement or discipline
From this crazy world we are in.

I can relax and reminisce all the good times,
While camoflaging myself here,
To keep me safe from all that went amiss.

I could really use a friend,
Exhausted from always feeling so feeble and alone,
Just wish that I could find somewhere to call my home.
Won't someone please come join me,
And together we can feel free,
Under these amazing Sakura Trees.
