How Freedom Looks To Me

What does freedom mean to me?
Read this poem and you shall see.
The world I hold in my imagination,
is my version of a freedom demonstration.

People would accept eachother
for who they truly are.
Diminishing all the horrible reasons
people have to start these wars.

We would finally make choices for ourselves,
free to act and speak as we please.
Rather than obeying all the demands of others,
like we are all of Santa's little elves.

The world would be a different place,
not just for me but also for you.
If freedom played a larger role,
In all the things we choose do.

In retrospect,
it's clear to see.
This is what freedom
looks like to me.
