It was in Godric's Hollow in the summer of 1899 that Grindelwald met Dumbledore, unaware of what was going to unfold.

Albus had always been the nice kind of boy, and even after his fights with his brother, Aberforth, he'd always feel sorry after, even if he didn't admit it. Not to mention him being head boy at school, and perfect, and little did he know, the headmaster.

Gellert, to say that least, was a headstrong boy, brave, and when he wanted something, he'd get it. There were no exceptions. He was too much even for Durmstrang, and god knows how tolerant they were of Dark Magic. He was sadistic, ambitious, and almost always in trouble.

People say opposites attract, don't they?

Gellert has always admired Albus' brain. The way he thought, the way he talked, and the way he moved. Gellert might've thought he was under a spell if he didn't know any better. Gellert was laying on his bed, letting his patronus wander around the room, trying to entertain himself. His patronus hadn't always been a phoenix, until he met Albus, who's patronus was the same. Gellert knew damn well why that had happened. Sometimes he wondered why Albus hadn't questioned this. Despite Albus being the smartest boy he'd ever met, apart from himself, he really could be oblivious. And as Albus continued his studying, Gellert was watched him, wondering how he was so oblivious. Leaving him lying on his bed, licking his dry lips, and wanting to grab Albus and theach him what he meant by 'studying'.

So, like a cat stalks it's prey, he got up, and quietly walked to him, and gently placed his hands on his shoulders, and slowly slid his fingertips down until he reached Albus' hand. He then nuzzled the boy hair, and, his final trick, he blew delicately behind his earlobes. He knew Albus wouldn't be able take it anymore, and he was right, as he turned around to face Gellert, and then grabbed him by the collar and kissed him fiercely. Well, that was the beginning of a good night.
