"Maya, where are you??!?? " Korede screamed at me through the phone
"Im not feeling too good. I feel funny like something is biting my belly " I groaned through the phone trying to swallow the saliva collecting itself in my mouth
"Urgh.. "She sighed "What did you eat last night? "
"Nothing much. I ate rice which is something I eat everytime "
"But what could have caused it? Have you told your mom? "
"No, not yet"
"Oh... You just ruined today's fun. How am I ever going to get over missing a day from the mall?!? "
"K, we could always go another day when I'm... Ohh"I groaned
"shit... Do you want me to come over?! " She asked panickedly
"I Dont thi.... Maybe "I replied sharply when the wave of nauseousness hit me
"You don't even have to tell me, I'm on my way already "
"Oh.." I replied fast and ran to the restroom sink to throw out what I don't know how it got to my belly.. I already threw up last night meal. I wonder what this one is
I felt like shit when Korede returned. Was too tired to stand and open the door for her
"Hey. You don't look too good "She said as she dropped her bag on the couch
"Biish I don't feel too good "I rolled my eyes at her for stating something that was glaringly obvious. I groaned like a woman on labour as I made my way to my room
"When was...? Never mind "
"When was what? "I asked looking up at her with all my energy
"I said Never mind"
"Uh"I shrugged collapsing on my bed
"Do you wanna see a doctor? "
"When mom comes back home and I still don't feel better "
"Ok.. Do you want tea? "
"Eww no" I groaned the thought of taking tea irritating me
"Since when did you become the one hating tea? I thought I was the only one "She gasped
"Since now" I whispered "I feel sleepy "
"Ok" She said placing my head on her laps.
"Damn! You are burning up! "She practically screamed
"I know "I replied
"I think we gotta see a nurse quick. You cant wait for your mom we don't even know when she will be back"
"I know... I.. I just.. "
"You what? You wanna die here on me? "
"Im not dying "I chuckled
"Get dressed. We are leaving now "She ordered
"Noooooo I don't want to stand up "I whined
"Then I'm leaving. You take care of yourself. Im even thinking of going to a hospital because of you. You know how I hate hospitals!!!"
"Fine. Biish"I groaned getting off the bed as slow as I could. I made it to my wardrobe and picked out a gown. I didnt care what I wore.

I dragged my feet half way through the journey which infuriated Korede but with the way I was feeling I didn't give a fuck.
