Can't a cat get any peace, Shadestar thought crossly. She clawed her way up the cliffs until she reached another one of her favorite spots, a half-cave with a flat rock hanging over the cliff. It was stable; she had tested it many times before. She padded into the half-cave; she wasn't going out to the flat rock today. Way too windy, she thought. She closed her eyes and listened to the wind whistling against the cliffs.

Wait! If I keep my eyes closed for too long, I might go back to SilverSkies. Quickly she opened her eyes. She was still in the half-cave. Good. But now her thoughts were troubled.

What does that cat-Grey-want with me?

How long have they been watching me?

Can't I ever do anything without worrying about something?

Shadestar shook her head and flattened her ears. Fresh air hadn't helped her clear her head, being near the stream didn't even help. And SilverSkies certainly didn't help; if anything, it made things worse. There was only one thing left to do.

StarClan can help.

Shadestar excitedly padded out of the half-cave and headed towards the BreezeClan border.
