Wanna One’s Kang Daniel Says He’s Received Calls From BTS’ Suga And SEVENTEEN’s Woozi
Wanna One revealed the most interesting things that they experienced after becoming celebrities.
On the March 21 episode of MBC’s “Radio Star,” BIGBANG’s Seungri and Wanna One members Kang Daniel, Ong Seong Woo, and Park Woo Jin appeared on the show.
During the show, Kang Daniel shared that one thing he found fascinating after becoming a celebrity was the veteran trot singer Tae Jin Ah, whom the members know through YMC Entertainment. He explained, “His everyday outfits are the same as his stage outfits.” Seungri revealed, “People don’t know, but those clothes are expensive. The material itself is silk.”
Ong Seong Woo said, “I’m fascinated by everything. I suddenly became popular. It’s amazing that celebrities mention me. Actress Shim Eun Kyung said that she likes me on a radio show.” Park Woo Jin stated, “When I type my name in the search engine, my face comes up. It’s amazing that such a thing could happen in my life.”
When Seungri asked if they received calls from other celebrities, Kang Daniel answered, “I didn’t receive any calls from girls. I received calls from guys. Suga and Woozi called me and asked me to be friends. I was very grateful.” Seungri then joked that Kang Daniel must have received calls from girls, and said his manager needed to be sent out so the stories could be revealed.
Ong Seong Woo said, “I didn’t receive calls from any girls, but I met my high school classmate Yook Sungjae on a music program.”
