It's scary how your life can change in mere minutes. In my case, it took exactly seven minutes for my perfect life to shatter around me, leaving me friendless. But I had lost more than just friends that day, I had lost something more important to me – my innocence. It felt like I had been wronged not only by the one who had stolen it from me but by the ones who had refused to listen as well. What hurt the most was that Sydney had been one of them. It was my word against his and guess whose she believed? It wasn't mine because after that night, I had lost my innocence and my friends. I had become a social pariah.

Yes, it was partly my fault for not speaking, for being too shy and scared and for not standing up for myself. But that was my only mistake.
