Vanitas had just felt it vibrate in his pocket. He didn’t care to look at the ID. “Yeah?” he answered before telling the person to hold. He opened his window. “Cram it down your rabbit hole Demyx! The spider is not dying today unless you actually smash the bloody thing!” he picked up his phone. “What is it?”
He heard sobbing. It took him a second to recognize the voice. “…Dare!...Dying!...Make it stop please!”
He was utterly confused and would never admit to being slightly worried about the girl. He dropped his phone in his pocket and skateboarded to the house and climbed up the tree into her window. She was rocking back and forth. He placed and hand on her shoulder and moved the chair around. “Who’s dying?!”
“Ahh!” she yelped, jumping out of it.
“What the hell happened?!” he yelled as she ran behind him. She wrapped one arm around his waist and the other pointed to the computer. It was the Happy Tree Friends cartoon and everyone dying. “Why the hell are you watching this show?” he asked.
“It was a dare. My computer froze and it won’t stop playing! Stop it please!” she didn’t let go either.
He wasn’t great with computers. He was about ready to smash it but that would scare her more. He pulled the cord with his foot and wrapped and arm around her, pushing her out of the house. “I’m going to kill the guy who did this.” He said.
