If it was one thing that I was stuck wearing a uniform with a skirt, it was another thing that there were no stripes on it. The only way I could tolerate it. So I decided to wear my big hat with candy cane stripes on it to class. We’re a class of people aiming to be exorcists, we weren’t exactly normal.
“Um…that hat…” Yukio started.
“It looks like the one from the Cat in the Hat! The stripes made me think so. I loved that book!” Rin grinned. His brother however, was not as amused.
“That book is completely illogical!” his brother retorted. You know, I always pegged Yukio to state logic, but I never actually though it was true.
“That’s my childhood man! Don’t wreck it!” he yelled. Oh boy. Here we go…
“American cats that are 6 ft. and wear striped hats are NOT logical!” he yelled back. Classes were not going to be going on for awhile. Everyone else seemed to already be in their own world.
“Have the heart of a child, you bore!” said Rin.
“Yukio...You sound like the talking fish in that book!” I accused, coming back into the conversation.
“There's a talking fish too?!” he exclaimed. They continued to argue.
“…This isn’t even about the stripes on the hat anymore, is it?” I asked.
