From The Start

Chapter 7

Harley's POV

Where am I? My eyes started to flutter open, why is there a load of blankets above and below me, wait why are there arms around my waist. Why am I sleeping cuddled up with Niall.. Then last night's events hit me and so did the banging headache I now had. We better have some ibuprofen somewhere close! I tried to wiggle out of Nialls grip without waking him but me being me failed. "Nneugh"

"Morning sweet cheeks" I winked.

"What the hell happened yesterday?"Oh yay I have to enlighten him!

"Well firstly we played 20q except there wasn't 20 questions"

"Yes I remember that"

'So you remember saying you liked me?' He sputtered.

"Did I really say that?" Oh so he didn't mean it, #bummed.

"Yes but don't worry I know you didn't mean it.."I looked down at my hands feeling tears coming, but I pushed them away.

"No, I did mean it, I just wasn't going to tell you..." Now he was looking down at his hands, I could tell he was blushing.

"Well I kinda like you too Niall.." he looked up clearly wanting to hear that "...but we've only just met and we are really good friends, I've never had a friend like you and I don't want to ruin that.." he was looking sad again, I wanted my best friend, I needed my best friend so I went and sat in-between his legs and hugged him, he was like a teddy bear!

"Me either that's why I wasn't going to say anything, damn alcohol!" He was holding me so close to him and bent down to kiss my forehead, I could sense it was a friendly gesture. He then came out with

"How about we compromise and become best friends with benefits?"

"I'm not going to agree to something that I don't agree with, I don't understand the whole friends with benefits thing, but I will say if shit happens, shit happens"

"Okay I understand" He looked down in confusion and then lent towards me pecking me on the lips. "Can this be shit happening?"

"Sure, come on let's get some breakfast"

"Good idea!" I could smell bacon, eggs and sausages, my mother really was a God especially when she knew I'd been drinking.

"Morning Mum, this is Niall he joined my form the beginning of the year and we are best buddies forever!"

"Morning love, sleep well?, well hello Niall I'm Kate"

"Morning Kate, she slept very well we made a blanket fort!"

"Harley has always wanted to make one of those, was it comfortable?"

"It was the best night sleep I've ever had mum" I said looking at Niall and he winked but luckily my mum didn't notice.

"Good! Your breakfasts are ready now" she said handing both of us plates, we walked back up stairs into my room and crawl into our fort.

We finished out breakfasts in an astonishing speed,

"I'm just gone go have a shower, entertain yourself!"

"okay dokey it's fine". I really needed that shower not because I smelt but because I really needed to think about the last 24 hours. Feeling the Hot water rush down my back was instantly calming, I could do this, we were best friends who both wanted a little more than that. FOR GODS SAKE CHILD STOP PANICKING NIALLS A LOVELY BOY! I started massaging my scalp while putting my shampoo through my long thick hair, golly I instantly forgot all my worries, good old massages! I quickly washed the shampoo out and lathered the conditioner in, combed through my hair then washed it out. I stepped out the shower wrapping a warm towel around my body and a normal towel round my hair. I walked back into my room in my towel completely forgetting Niall was still here.

"Shit"

"no it's fine I'll just go have a shower now anyway" he said awkwardly shuffling past me while biting his lip.

"There's a towel on the rack"

"Okay thanks" I should probably put some underwear on... It wasn't as though any thing was gonna happen so nice pair of granny pants on this fine day and old non-push-up push up bra, jeans and a tshirt will be fine ain't nobody judging in here.

By the time Niall got out the shower I was engrossed in Nazi zombies on CoD WaW second map and on round 4 which may I point out is good for a single player female!

"Hey can I join in?"

"yeah sure just wait for me to die'"

"wouldn't have it another way" 2 rounds later I screamed which is code for dead, I was incredibly impressed, I mean round 6 on your own, wow! Me and Niall played on my Xbox until around 5 when he announced he should probably go home, he gave me a hug good bye went down stairs, he thanked my mum for her hospitality and kissed her on the cheek, quite the charmer hey! Then quickly exited and pulled the door shut very quietly may I add.
