I made it to the coffee shop in fifteen minutes--well, fourteen. Percy hadn't arrived yet, so I sat down and ordered a small tea.
I waited for ten minutes and decided maybe he got lost. But how? This place is like five minutes from his house. I waited another five minutes before I texted him.
Me: almost here?
I waited. No reply.
Me: everything ok, babe?
No reply.
Me: Percy?
Me: Perseus?
Me: Reply, Jackson!
I growled and slipped my phone in my pocket, standing to leave. But then, I brought my phone out. I called Sally.
She picked up immediately and I almost shouted, "Is everything okay?"
I made my way outside the shop.
"No, Percy is in the hospital. His heart was acting up again."
I nearly threw up.
"I'm on my way."
