"Ring, Ring!" The school bells were signalising every student to come out for lunch. As always, Ned and Peter would sit together and eat but far across the table was a curly headed girl sitting alone but looked tough.
"Is that a new top Liz is wearing?" Peter said staring at Liz in awe.
"Dude, she wore that before" Ned replied as he rolled his eyes.
"You guys are weird". There came a voice across the table. Peter looked at her and gave a confused expression.
"How can you say that?" Ned asked.
"Uhhhh because you guys stare at a girl who probably feels uncomfortable about it and you guys also talk like creeps behind her back" she replied.
"Actually he does" Ned said pointing to Peter.
"Hey!" Peter said nudging Ned on the arm.
"Anyways I'm off to the library" She said picking her stuff up.
"Hey! It's Michelle, isn't it?". She turned back to Peter and smiled.
"I prefer MJ". She walked away leaving Ned and Peter shrugging their shoulders.
Michelle's P.O.V
I walked away knowing that they wouldn't care. I mean, who would want to be friends with me? I've fancied Peter ever since we started high school. I just wished he liked me back. Not all lover's dreams can come true. It also hurts to see that he loves someone else but not me. Liz is very kind and sweet. She probably deserves him a lot.

As the day went on, it ended up at a decathalon meeting. As always Peter showed up late and at this rate, none of the team members know if he will be joining this year. In came Peter bursting through the doors in the hall.
"Mr. Parker, you need to be in time for all decathalon meetings and I'm sure you weren't held up in the toilets were you?" Mr. Harrington said whilst crossing his arms.
"Sorry sir, it won't happen again" Peter said looking down but peering on the other team mates. "Good, now take a seat". Peter walked over to Ned and sat down. Michelle always thought that Peter was hiding something but she didn't know what it was.
All she wants to do is make sure that he's okay and that whatever he's hiding won't harm anyone...
