The Planet That Should Never Be Apart...

~ Chapter 3 ~

Peter had the biggest smile on his face. Tony Stark has given him an internship card! He himself gave it to him. He layed back on his bed and looked up. Life was going great. Well, we'll see about that.

Monday came round and it was school lunch time. Peter ran up to Ned and told him he got into the internship with Tony Stark!
"Ned! I got the internship card from Tony Stark!"
"No way!! Really?!"
"Yeah look!" Peter showed him the card in excitement.
"Wait, why did you get the internship?"
"It's - uh - just a little thing I do"
"What do you do?" Her voice was very similar and her footsteps were coming close to Peter's ears. He turned round and saw Michelle. At this point, he didn't know what to say instead...
"Umm - uh - just - I don't do anything. It really is nothing that I do. All I do is sort of work with Mr Stark, well mainly his assistant is who I hand around with".
Michelle walked away with her curiosity in her eyes.

It turned evening and as always Peter was just doing his job as a friendly neighbourhood Spider Man. His time he had to come home from his window just so that Aunt May doesn't find out. He crawled along the ceiling until he reached his door. He closed it with the webs coming out of his wrists. He dripped softly on the floor and turned around to see Ned. He dropped his big Lego model on the floor.
"You're the Spider Man!"
"No, no I'm not!"
"You were on the ceiling!"
"No I wasn't! Ned what are you doing in my room?!"
"Aunt May said we can finish watching the Death Star!"
"You can't just bust into my room!". Then the door swung open. Aunt May came in.
"Hey Peter, Ned. Do guys want some Thai?"
"Yes" (Ned)
"No he doesn't"(Peter). They both said it at he same time.
"Ok uhhh Peter, put some clothes on". He smiled and took a shirt off his chair. Aunt May closed the door and headed off.
"She doesn't know!?" Ned exclaimed.
"No! Only Mr Stark made me that suit!"
"Tony Stark made you that?! Are you an avenger?!"
"Well yeah I guess". Ned fell in to the bottom bunk and gasped.
"You cannot tell anybody about this! You gotta keep it a secret!"
"A secret! Why?!"
"You know what will happen if she finds out that people are trying to kill me! She won't let me do this anymore!  C'mon Ned, please"
"Ok, ok, I'll level with you. I don't think I can keep this a secret because this is the greatest thing that has happened to me!"
"May cannot know! I can't do that to her! You know, after everything that has happened to her, I - please"
"O-ok"
"Just swear on it"
"I swear". Peter left out a sigh and whispered to himself "I can't believe this is happening right now"
"Wait, is their webs coming out of you like actually coming out of you?!"
"Look Ned, I'll tell you everything tomorrow"....
