Michelle was laying in her hospital bed while her family was sobbing beside her. Her parents heard a knock on the door and let the young boy in. Peter looked very sympathetic at her parents and all they did was smiled at him and left the room. Peter felt really guilty and he thought yelling at her was his last words but thank God she was still alive.
He sat down beside her on a chair and took her hand to hold. He stroke one thumb on it and Michelle woke up. She fluttered her eyes open and looked at the boy next to her. For a second she couldn't believe her eyes and she knew this was a moment to not let go.
"Hey, you're parents let me in" Peter said with the slightest smile at the corner if his mouth.
"Uhh um that's fine" she said with a croaky throat.
"Look, I'm sorry for yelling at you the other day and I seriously didn't mean it at all. I was being such a proper je-"
"No Peter, I know I keep asking questions over and over again and I know I'm annoying but all I want to do is make sure you're okay no matter what"
"Yeah, I realise that now but why?"
"Well because you're always late to lessons, which is not like you, you're constantly making fluid in a drawer inside your desk and you keep stuttering"
"Wow! You know a lot"
"Eh well, let's say I'm just observant"
"Haha, well I am really sorry for yelling at you"
"It's cool and I promise to not ask you a lot of questions". They both smiled at each other until the room fell quietly into the two staring at each other's eyes....
"Uhh I should get going now, Aunt May would probably ask where I was"
"Um okay see you the next time I come in school?"
"Yeah sure, bye"
"Bye!". That was weird, it's like I felt something happen between us, Peter thought to himself.
<<On TV>>
'Crime fighting Spider Man has once saved the day of an armed robbery. Our saviour had...'
"You see that?" Aunt May began. "When you see that happen, you turn round and run like your life depends on it, because it does"(you maze runner fans will know this quote).
"Yeah Yeah, of course" Peter replied back knowing that he is lying to his aunt once again.
"That's not far! Peter you need to be careful where you go. You understand that?"
"Yes Aunt May" and again he turned his speech into a big fat lie.
There was on thought going through his mind.....
Should he tell Michelle who he really is?...
